We have never watched the show before, but probably will now as Mikayla is from our area. She went to HS with one of my kids. She was a fantastic athlete in HS and it sounds like she has continued that. It was fun watching her shoot coconuts as she was an excellent basketball player. Looked like she hadn't lost her shot. Brandon is the one who better watch out for her. She could chew him up and spit him out!

I enjoy Dalton's blog, too. Read it faithfully. It appears Probst has abandoned his website. And it seems he is NOT blogging. I'm disappointed!

Me too! I looked on his blog and there was no new update. It does but he has a tatoo with his last name on his upper back and on his upper arm. The shirt was covering those.

I don't think Brandon is creepy, I think they just edited that way. He could have been looking through the leaves at anything.

What made it creepy was the voice overlay of him talking about how he's a married man and religious and didn't like how these bikini-clad women could be a temptation. Uh, if you are going to get all hellfire-and-brimstone over bikinis on a TROPICAL ISLAND, I'm thinking Survivor is not for you.

Brandon told Coach only about his relation to Russell. Ozzy and Christine went/continued looking for the hidden immunity idol. Ozzy found it on his tribe, Christine only found a clue. The challenge was a reward/immunity challenge that Upolu started off strong in but Savaii won.

Coach had a plan to flush out the idol if Christine found it, and that was to split the vote between Christine and Stacey that every seemed fine with until Brandon took the opportunity to go after Mikayla. Brandon looked at Mikayla as the next Parvati and that she had to go. It really just looked like he was attracted to her and didn't want the temptation around because he was married. It looked like he could have pulled off getting Mikayla out until Coach, who was determined to keep Mikayla around because she's the strongest female, stirred up the pot in TC. Coach said that someone said Stacey and Christine wanted to vote out Mikayla, Stacey and Christine said this was not true, they had no intention to vote her out. Before TC, Brandon had told them to vote Mikayla and also told Coach they were voting for her. Coach did not taddle on Brandon, he confessed however.

The vote was Christine 4, Stacey 3, Sophie 1, Edna 1.




I liked Brandon in episode 1, I do not like him anymore. He claims to not be like Russell, but he is very much like him. I think he is right about Mikayla however about her being a strong player, and I think she will get far. I also think she might be too strong in challenges, unlike Parvati (who was above average but not great at challenges). Once the merge comes she won't last because of her strength.

Typically I never liked coach but compared to Hantz he is great LOL-- Hantz is just so creepy I can't stand him--they should all vote Micayla off because he is a pervert and afraid he can't control his married self-- Hope he goes very soon and I REALLY hope he and Micayla end up on redemption island alone together ROFLMAO--THAT would be priceless!!

I think Brandon's his own worst enemy, and will likely be voted out soon. He seems like a nice enough guy, but he's wrestling with his own demons, and it's affecting how he plays the game.

Not sorry to see Christine go--she should have known that calling Coach a "temporary player" would put her on the radar. Not saying she's wrong to think that, she should have just worded it differently--that he could be considered a threat due to his experience.

I don't really care about Redemption Island--they can both go home, AFAIC.

Hantz is sooo creepy! He leers at Mikayla and blames her for being attractive and wearing a bikini and "tempting" him. eewwww... I hope he gets voted off soon! He gives me the heebie-jeebies!!
I don't like how Survivor keeps bringing back previous players especially those that have played more than once. I hope these players don't just hand the $ to Coach or Ozzy as they did last season with Boston Rob. I wanna see some guts and big moves!
