Signing into the non spoiler thread! Its funny, I LOVE spoilers. I post soap spoilers and I watched the Big Brother feeds, but there is a handful of shows that I want to be surprised. Survivor is at the top of that list!

On top of that, there are no spoilers to be found for Survivor anymore! They stop surfacing after some forum member/contestant over on survivor sucks, i think, got in trouble for posting them every season.

I prefer being able to post as it happens. That has been that way for most non-spoiler threads I have participate in the past.

This was the 1st year I didn't watch. I was glad to see who won! Maybe I'll watch next season. It was starting to be the same ol' stuff. It sounds like you all liked the addition of redemption island!

I've watched every season but this is the first one that I'm not excited about. I'm tired of seeing past players play again.

I have no idea who the returning players might be - I'd love to see Coach and Philip. I hope Russell isn't coming back, although he said last night that he'd like to play again.

I'm on the fence about Redemption Island - I like the idea, but I think the winner of RI should come back at the merge and that'll be the end of RI; I think carrying it to the final 5 was too much. Eh, we'll see how it shakes out next season; maybe I'll change my mind.

I'm with you. I also think that RI would be better if there were no tribal witnesses to the challenges. That way, no one would know who might be coming back.

Coach & Phillip would be alright with me!

I'd like Russell to take at least another year off before he comes back again. I'm a Russell fan but I feel like the producers are shoving him down our throats a little bit too much.

I liked Russell but I'm not interested in seeing him play again. I also think that it's too early to bring his nephew into the game. I think that they should have at least waited until next season.

I'm in. I haven't missed an episode in years but I thought this last season was pretty boring.

I don't know how excited I am about bringing back past players and dang it, I wish they'd return to casting "normal people" as the norm instead of the Hollywood model/actor(ess) wannabes.
I think if they ever brought Phillip back, I'd consider skipping the season.

Coach is so out there and crazy that I hope they keep him around for a while. I don't care much about Ozzy. I think there are better people that they could have brought back.

I was never a fan of Ozzy and still not one. I think that he is too cocky. His tribe better watch out.


At the moment, I like the rancher and Papa Bear the best.

Usually on the thread we talk about the show at it happens. To me, and I think to most of us, spoilers are things that happen on future shows like who gets sent to RI or who loses and is out of the game for good.

I say whoever can't watch the show live and doesn't want to know what happens shouldn't open the thread til after they get a chance to see it. I know that it how I plan to do it.

Funny - I was thinking the same thing about the hair!

While it's too early to know all of them, I like the rancher and Papa Bear. I kind of like Ozzy, but I can see what a PP means when he/she said Ozzy was kind of cocky.

And the girl who said that she thought Brandon (Russell's nephew) was hiding something. She's very perceptive - that should help her get far in the game if she plays it right.
