I just got done making, tweaking and reviewing my Fastpasses for our trip end of February. It took about 35 minutes. I have an old laptop also, which took longer. I got everything I wanted, although some of the times were a little off. I got the Anna and Elsa, which was the big thing. Didn't try for SDMT. Magic Kingdom was the hardest to decide on Fastpasses, even with two days there. I feel like the other parks were easy, especially Epcot, since Soarin' will be down when we're there.
I agree with the advice to pick really off times and then go back and fix it to what you want. I was hoping the system would magically offer the times I wanted right away, but no. Also, I have to keep telling myself that I don't have to use the fastpasses if I don't want--if the standby line is short, then I can go with it. But my brain is all screwed up and I'm thinking of them as "reservations."
I found out that Jungle Cruise will be down when we're there (Feb. 28-March 4) so that's a bummer. It was down our first trip. I'm starting to think I'll never ride that or Soarin'. Good luck everyone!

1. Congratulations.

2. Remember that if you don't use (or even MISS) a booked FP+ in the park, you can CHANGE that FP+ to another time and/or attraction (if available) in that same park. That's true even if it is past the end of the return window time of your booked FP+.

I also made mine for everything I wanted last night....used my phone and was done in about 25mins for 4 park days!!! =) I've already made 2 changes this morning...but I feel as if we are all set now!!

I've made mine as well for our upcoming Feb 10-18 trip. A bit difficult to decide where/when we will be in specific parks. I used a crowd calendar as a guide on what park on which day, do you? If yes, which do you find most accurate/helpful. Any other "tools" you use to decide?

As first times, I relied on WDW Prep School and Kenny the Pirates crowd predictions - I also did not plan park days for any park that had EMH.

I use easywdw for my park day choices. Then I also consulted calendars from Kenny the Pirate and Undercover Tourist. I pick my park days and ADR'S from that.
I used these Boards for help with the fastpasses. There is a big post from Mesaboy on it. We also have little girls, so for MK, Anna and Elsa was a priority and Belle. Then I know that Peter Pan typically has a long standby line, so I did Fastpass for that.

I made mine for our Feb 26-March 5 trip the other day and found it easy to get what I wanted at the times I wanted as well. Today I put everything into Touring Plans and ended up tweaking some of the times based on what happened with that and didn't have any issues moving to the new times I wanted either.

Paigesmom2013 We will be there on the same dates! 2/27-3/4. Just booked our Fp's also. I missed one ADR for CRT(!!) and now I'm scrambling for that and I need to take another look at the FP and continue organizing, but whew.. it's all so fun, but a lot of pressure to make it all connect and be smooth. I want so badly to get on the February ADR cancellations thread, but you have to have 10 posts and I'm new to DISboards! So here I am, looking for a profile pic and conversations to participate in haha.. the things we do for our families :)
