Surprised the kids, wife, and my readers w/ a 2 week trip to AoA!(*NEW* 11-7)

Wow, what a final day! Casey, Jr. is always a great way to end a park day, slowing down a little and lower the stress level! :thumbsup2

Loved the little touches Mousekeeping left for you, and too funny about the stuffed cuddlies gathering around and turning the TV back on while you were away! :rotfl2: I guess the Mickey in the window was supposed to be playing lookout like in Toy Story so they wouldn't get busted, but he must have been a little slow with the warning! :goodvibes

Great job with the ninja, tetris-style packing while the kids slept!

I totally agree about those cookies. They are absolutely horrible, and I will never again waste money on one! :sad2: Your description is spot on!

Glad you remembered the shoes before it was too late and the luggage was already checked in for the plane, or even worse on the way to the airport! Looks like some nice pool time to end your trip, even WITH the stink eye!!! :lmao:
i never thought of mickey as the lookout but i guess that makes sense, and with our ninja skills we sneaked up on him so he couldnt tell the others before we got inside.
i was happy about the shoes as well, im sure she will give you the stink eye sometime just so you dont feel left out.

A month? Let's just ignore that ingredients list then.:rolleyes1

Woohoo! Free money! :woohoo: I'd be at the air hockey table.

How come we don't get stickers when we hurt ourselves?

Man, what did you say to Candi?:confused3:rotfl:
air hockey huh, your on, loser buys next game

you should know that you dont have to say anything to the wifes to get hte stink eye it just comes with us being men.:)

:lmao:

Stickers are better than band aids. LOL

Last day is the worst.
stickers make everything better.

i agree last day stinks but after 2 weeks it is time to head home at least to start planning the next trip.

That pool looks so fun. I love Nemo and friends. I can't wait until Finding Dory!

so you didnt venture off from your tour group and do a cannon ball in the deep end.
:sad2:
that will be a good movie, to bad they pushed it back to 2015

Chapter 74. Peakaboo changing.

When we were done playing in the shallow area of the big pool, the kids wanted to head over to the cozy cone one more time. so that is what we did.

First though i thought about how we would not that fresh from the pool water and would prob want a shower after wards, well all our stuff is being held at the front of AoA so how do we shower?

Hmmm, i got it, Candi and Noelle walked the path through the court yard while parker and I went through the Nemo building and as luck would have it, there was a maid cart out in that hallway, so as we walked buy we grabbed a few shampoos and soaps to take with us to the next pool. And possibly a few towels as well.

After our maid cart raid, we me the girls back outside by sheriffs car.

where parker opted to take the long way around and try and beat me and candi walking the shorter way to the pool.

getting into the cozy pool, we found that cozy cone #2 was open so that is where we parked our stuff.

when we settled in, we then went to play in the pool for a while where the lifeguard ended up giving noelle her own stuffed squishy animal to play with, which was a purple shark.

after playing around for a bit, i thought it was time to use our last 3 CS credits, for lunch. so with everyones order in mind i went to the main hall to get lunch.

When i get there, i realize that they did not have nuggets which parker requested, so instead of getting him something that he would not want i ordered candi and noelles food and went back to deliver it.

there were a few unhappy people that i only came back with one meal...but instead of getting something he would not eat or want, i gave him his options and he picked pizza...so back again to get parkers pizza and my lunch...which was another round of the beef stir fry.

while me and parker finished up and noelle had some of my lunch candi used the sneakily snatched wash up items and went to the bathroom/showerhouse of the cozy cone to freshen up and get the pool smell off for the ride home.

when she came back she helped change the kids into there going home clothes while i then went to shower up.

and a little advice, (not sure if the womens is the same layout as the mens) but when you shower and then go into the changing area of the mens showers at the cozy cone...be mindful of where the door is.:faint:

turns out that if you are changing and someone opens the door to the bathroom, you turn into the welcoming committee for that bathroom.

as well as the greeter to people walking past the door at that moment.:flower3:

but if you are mindful of it, you will notice that before you actually have to greet someone...which i then went back into the shower area and changed the rest of the way in there...

after we were all showered up, we returned the towels to the pool return area, and left the extra shampoo in the shower area in case anyone else was looking to do the same.

it turned out that we still had about 2 snack credits left. so we grabbed a few more mickey head goldfish.

then it was short trip to the checked bag area to retrieve our goods.

there were people trying to get on the early bus instead of there bus which was schedule to arrive about 20 minutes later and the driver stood his ground and would not let them get on.

trying to have happy faces on the bus ride home.

noelle really got into the happy faces on the way to the airport.

parker and me ready to head to the airport.

the guy behind us was doing donald duck voices to parker on the way to the airport, and he sounded identical to donald, which parker got a real kick out of.

one more resort pic before we leave the hotel that we enjoyed so much.

that is all i have the time to type right now about the trip home, but will have the rest of the trip home and some souveniors that we got in the next chapter...

but since i have not posted pics of the kids currently as they look here are a few from 2 weeks ago when we went to the apple orchard.

when you ask for a picture of them, sometimes you get a cute hugging picture where they are really enjoying each other.

and sometimes you get the ninja pose where they are lethal machines ready to attack.
and actually this pose they did all on there own when i asked for a picture...as soon as one does it the other jumps in and joins.

hope everyone has a good weekend, and enjoys some good fall weather.

That's hilarious about bathroom and shower changing area :rotfl2:

Looks like the kids were not too upset on way to airport:goodvibes

Cute pics at the apple orchards

Love the ninja shot :cool2:

Those are some happy faces for leaving WDW :rotfl2:

Love the recent pictures of kids. They look like they really love each other :)

Great way to play right up until the last minute! Good ninja moves on the maid cart! :rotfl2: I see why the kids are ninjas, too! :goodvibes They are getting so big - especially Noelle has changed a lot! Very cute! I'm looking forward to hearing about your plans!

People were trying to get on the earlier bus? Who would want to leave Disney earlier than they had to especially when those buses come so early to begin with?!

I love the ninja pose picture!

Great update, Dan. And good advice on the shower/changing call you maid cart thief! :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Everyone looks so happy on the bus...I think you are all so cute.

And I absolutely love the ninja pose. :goodvibes

I just read your tr. It was wonderful but took me a couple of days to go through it. You take great pictures and you have a beautiful family. I'll be leaving for disney in a few weeks and reading trip reports like yours gets me excited for my trip. I started taking my son when he was 8, now he's 16 and time really does fly. Hope parker and noelle have a great Halloween.

I can't believe the kids were so smiley when leaving WDW! Love the ninja poses!

Way to wrap up a Disney Trip.
You did it right- raiding the maid cart and all.

:faint: On the Dressing room. You almost did it again- showing the world all you got!! :lmao:

It is funny during the design process we actually watch for that- funny that they didn't catch that.
That's why in some places it is curved, like Epcot by TT and other places it is enter and turn then like Adventureland / Frontierland bathroom.
Double doors like DHs by the ToT or enter and then either left or right like AK in Africa I think. :lmao:

Those are just bathrooms and when changing is possible you should be even more careful. :upsidedow

Everyone looks awfully darn happy to be going home. ;)

Hope to hear about that next trip because we all know there has to be one soon right?

The ninja pose is my favorite too.

Great Update Stripper Dan !!!:rotfl2:Loved the Ninja pose pix at the end !!!:cloud9:Sounds like a great last day before the Unmagical express !!

I just finished reading your report too...it took me a few days but I really enjoyed it! My oldest DD23 (Kayla)...her middle name is Noelle. She has said many times that she wishes it was her first name :)

Anyway, your kids are adorable! We are getting ready for our first 2 week trip June 7th:cool1: Our longest so far has been 10 nights, and I am so excited to be able to spend a whole 2 weeks there. We are staying offsite at Bonnet Creek since we have 7 in our family. My DD23 would LOVE to stay at AOA. I was thinking of trying to stay there for a night or two and then move to BC but I will have to see what the rates are when the time gets closer. I cant remember if they discount the rooms there or not.

:thumbsup2 on pilfering from the maid cart!

The Cozy Cone pool is great! I love how they used the cones as little cabanas!

Reading about your experience in the changing room had me laughing!!

I'm also among those not understanding why someone would want to leave on an EARLIER bus?! :confused3 That's just silly!

Loved all your smiling, positive faces on the way to the airport!

The ninja poses are great! Parker and Noelle are just too cute and getting so big!!

I have really enjoyed getting caught up with your trip report. It's so great to see Parker and Noelle having such a great time at Disney and even on the UnMagical Express. They really have changed since the trip. I can't wait to hear about your plans for the next trip. I have guess on what you're driving to Disney.

another plus of being there that long not as sad to head home as on a shorter trip.:thumbsup2

they are my little ninjas:)

Those are some happy faces for leaving WDW :rotfl2:

Love the recent pictures of kids. They look like they really love each other :)
they have a good time together except when they both want the same toy. :sad2: but for the most part they get along great.

Great way to play right up until the last minute! Good ninja moves on the maid cart! :rotfl2: I see why the kids are ninjas, too! :goodvibes They are getting so big - especially Noelle has changed a lot! Very cute! I'm looking forward to hearing about your plans!
we have a family of ninjas...we are very very sneaky...its just part of our training, i start them young with the moves...pretty soon parker will be maid cart snatching.

noelle has changed a ton this last year, but she will always be my little peanut wrapped up in a swaddle blanket.:goodvibes

People were trying to get on the earlier bus? Who would want to leave Disney earlier than they had to especially when those buses come so early to begin with?!

I love the ninja pose picture!

yeah i think they were not right for wanting to get on early, i wish they didnt come 3 hours before but i guess they need to do that in order to make sure you cant blame them for making you late for your flight.

parker just got a ninja outfit so he is doing more and more ninja poses, and he is getting better at hiding when i get home from work.
:upsidedow

hope you have a good halloween as well.

they were in good spirits, but who doesnt love an airplane ride...im sure they were pumped for that as well and it didnt sink in fully that we were going home...or maybe they just missed home though.

raiding made carts is what i do best, you should see my collection.:rotfl: glad you look for those sort of things, that restroom definitely did not look for it.

you really have your bathroom floor plans down huh?
:rolleyes1

yep there is another one booked already, and ill have that up after the final chapter....

PS...ill have to tell you my olive garden story some time if we ever get a chance to meet.:rotfl2:

Great Update Stripper Dan !!!:rotfl2:Loved the Ninja pose pix at the end !!!:cloud9:Sounds like a great last day before the Unmagical express !!
with my knack for exposure and your pole dancing, we would make a great combo. :lmao:

:welcome: and with you naming your daughter that as her middle name you must be good people. :thumbsup2
you will have a blast with that many days, it really gives you the options to have down days and to relax on vacation as well.

i dont think they offer the room discounts for the little mermaid sections but im pretty sure they do for the suites.

:thumbsup2 on pilfering from the maid cart!

we really enjoyed those cones, they didnt actually get as hot in there as we thought they are open enough to let enough breeze in so a good place to take a nap as well.

some people just are goofy trying to get on an early bus, or smiling on the bus that is taking them away from disney world.
:rotfl2:

They really have changed since the trip. I can't wait to hear about your plans for the next trip. I have guess on what you're driving to Disney.

they have changed, noelle mostly though she looks alot more grown up now...but will always be my little peanut.

hmm, you have a guess huh, go ahead and make it, now and i can see if you are right when i post about it.

we have a family of ninjas...we are very very sneaky...its just part of our training, i start them young with the moves...pretty soon parker will be maid cart snatching. :rotfl::rotfl:

Aww, little girls have a way of stealing their daddies' hearts for sure! princess: Guess what - it works on Grandpas too! :rotfl2:

Normally you're supposed to steal these from your hotel room when you pack up. :thumbsup2
