Surprised I can book Jet Blue for October already?

I was so surprised when I went on JB website and saw that I could book our flights for the end of October. I guess I should book since I got $74 each way direct flight from NY. Linda

Me too. I just booked Sept 28 to MCO, Oct. 5 back to IAD and Oct. 31 to MCO (it ends there). Each flight was $59! We have two trips for October. One a long weekend (Thur-Tues free dining) and late October to Nov. 12 for a cruise and WDW trip. I don't like buying my tickets this far out, but that is the best fare I can hope for, and with JB you get assigned seating and first bag free. Since the price of gas seems to be going up in my area, I figured I better book now in case the flights start increasing and after the other airlines increased their baggage fees, I do fear that JB may eventually start charging (but I hope not).

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Nov rates to be reasonable. We are booked for BLT over thanksgiving week next year. I'm praying the flights aren't $525/person like they were a few years ago during President's week. Normally Jetblue doesn't post their schedule that far in advance. Normally it's like 6 months.
