Thanks! Actually, the Flynn we met in Jan 2011 was the best one! I seem him on others TRs and they also just gushed over him. He "was" the character. Thus one was good too thought. Very smoldery. LOL

I like the dress, and the hair. I'll tell you what I don't like, Belle's new dress! Very pale in color and it looks weird. Her hair is different, I like it, but the dress..... Nope.

Ohhh! Prince and Princess M&G! I have got to get there for Halloween just so Maddie can meet them! Love all the photos, Kadence looks great.

So on to a new day, Saturday, November 3rd.

We all slept really well, AoA has really nice beds for anyone who wants to know. The pillows didn’t thrill me, but they weren’t flat either. It was the first time at Disney that we had no reason to rush anywhere.

We did have plans though! Downtown Disney!

John the early riser was up first at about 9:30, I quickly followed. We let Kadence sleep; it was funny to look at her. She was laying flat on her stomach, arms down, head off the pillow, like she just fell flat and stayed there. Poor baby was sleeping so hard.

John got ready and while I was, he went to the food court and grabbed some breakfast for us. I took no pictures, Sorry! It was just a regular breakfast platter for John and me- eggs, bacon, biscuit, and potatoes. For Kadence he got a waffle. We had just started to eat when she woke up. She ate and wanted to get ready for DTD. Nothing lures that kid outta bed like shopping!

We got out to the bus stop and there was a DTD bus there! YAY! Now if our luck would hold for the return trip……..


According to the info on my picture, we hit this spot at 11:40am. I told her to stand between Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum and this is what she decided to grace me with.

Like her outfit? I had gotten her the shirt, I Love Perry, for her for Easter. Now what to wear with it? I was following another DISer’s TR at the time of planning our trip, and Shannon (Shan23877) has a sweet little girl who had the same shirt, and Shannon had made her DD some cute tulle skirts. I had said how much I liked them and she said she wouldn’t mind making & selling me one. Well I took her up on that, and soon we got a cute skirt that matched the shirt. Thanks Shannon!!!

This outfit fits into some fun plans we had for later!

We were on a mission! I had bought a lanyard and got a 10 pin set on ebay, and gave her them this morning. She had wondered last trip what pin trading was and I too was interested in seeing if she’d like to do it. We headed over to the pin trading area to make her very first pin trade!

At first we didn’t know what to do, where to start so we asked. The CM was very nice, and explained a few things about pin trading to us. Then she asked Kadence, “would you like to trade?” She sure did! In the pins I got, there were only 2 that she really liked, a princess pin and a Mickey Head. And I saw the CM’s pins and it was full of possibilities!

Kadence pointed out a Chip pin that was wearing glasses, and gave up a pin that was a baby wearing Mickey ears. After we were done, I asked her why she picked that pin, she said because Chip had glasses and she was tricked about the trip by us telling her she had an eye appt to get glasses. I think she put a lot of thought in to that trade, don’t you!

Off to finally do some shopping! YAY, as you can see she was jumping for joy.

The she composed herself, and posed with her Daddy.

And then we barely got inside and she asked if she could trade another pin! This time she went for a princess pin that was similar to one she had, only to find out it was part of a set of pins: Princess with flower petals around the outside edge. The CM pointed that tidbit out and told us to keep a lookout for the rest in the set.

Oh boy, there goes my OCD, I must find the rest!

But first, the one thing Kadence was searching for, her first new stuffed friend: The Cheshire Cat.

Why?

Really, I was feeling pretty crowded in there, and we had to wait forever for a CM who could help us with the photo albums I wanted to ship home. I was starting to get warm and was having a bit of an issue with having too many people in my personal space, so we decided to hurry up and move along outside.
It felt good to get outside, and as we started walking, Kadence pointed out a sky writer. I’ve seen that every time we’ve been to Disney, and apparently someone wants us to know that God Loves U.

I figure no matter what your particular feeling about God, at least it’s a nice message, and not anything obscene.
