Surprise family reunion

Hi everyone!

I am waiting on my recently purchased 50pnt Dec UY BLT resale to close and get set up. My contract is loaded with banked 12 points and all 13 points. I was hoping to book a 1 or 2 bedroom villa sometime in early September. My little brother has a September birthday and since I have moved across the country, I was hoping I would be able to plan a family get together and have a long weekend with everyone there. The one bedroom would mean just the siblings and significant others, but the 2nd bedroom would let mom and dad come down as well.

Well the process is taking a little longer than I had hoped so I was wondering what is the likelihood of an available 1 or 2 bedroom villa available in early September such as labor day weekend? Or would I be better off trying for a little later in the year. Either way I have the '12 points to use up...

I truly appreciate your help! I just cannot wait for this to finalize haha

Since availability can change in the time it takes you to read this, your guess is as good as anyone's. All you can do is wait and see.

There may be patterns but you will read many posts like, "what's going on in XX, limited availability".

In terms of September, early is better than later due to Food and Wine. We have asked that no one post specifics in terms of availability--I know you were not asking that, just a friendly reminder to others--but I will say that is an easier month than some others of booking and getting what you want.

I had to make changes recently to my July trip to BLT and was able to make those changes so things are possible at any time less than 7 months out--and, 1 bedrooms tend to be the last to reserve as well.

If you are flexible, I think you will have luck finding what you want. The good news is that once you are able to book, if the time frame you are looking at is not available, you will be able to search for a better time to get what you want!

I just cannot wait until the contract closes, it was supposed to close yesterday but has not yet.

Anyway, I am trying for a long weekend to sleep between 5 to 8 people depending if I am in a relationship by then, and if my parents come. I have 50 points I have to use by Dec1, 2014, and have to plan around my little brother's college schedule, and my sister's work schedule, along with mine and my parents...

But I love planning Disney Vacations.

I have not been able to get to WDW as often as I would like especially recently, so I was wondering if anyone pays attention to the crowd calenders like that of Undercover Tourist, and if they are accurate?

I do understand things fluctuate and trends change, but just wondering if they hold much truth to them. Planning a reunion is more difficult than I originally thought, and this is for a small family haha I just gained a lot of respect for anyone who has planned larger ones
