Nov 1st is now our first day! I even got flights for $115 each on Southwest.

This time I can't blame John, rumors are that Free Dining will come out and will have some blackout dates,(pins being released now have the dates) with Nov 2nd being one of them. I would love to have FD and if in fact the 2nd is a blackout, and Nov 1st isn't, I've got it! Also now that we'll be there the night before, we'll be rested for MNSSHP the next night instead of being up at 3am and doing the party the same night.

I think this is the perfect plan now. I also made an ADR for Breakfast at Chef Mickeys on Nov 2nd, then off to the Boardwalk area. I foresee a No Way Jose for lunch! Then off to MNSSHP.

Better late then never! Welcome! Now that we will be leaving around 9am to got to the airport, I want to send her to school and then go get her and surprise her! John isn't keen on that, so we'll see!

I do too. Just adding the day, and if I score with FD, I'll be saving 700 or more depending on ADR's. Plus the rest is a huge draw.

How would you surprise her??

I thought since we will be leaving at 9am to go to the airport, that we should send her to school that day. Treat it like no special, then go and get her from school and let her have it! Maybe have a sign for when she gets called to the office!

Too much??


John isn't sold on that, he's thinking just let her sleep in and tell her when she wakes. ( too little..... in my book)

Not so sure on surprising her in the office, but maybe when you get to the car?? Let her think something is up when you get her and then once you get outside to the car...lay it on her!!! What time would you pull her out of school?

I did think, pull her and walk out to the truck and have a sign taped on it saying something about going to WDW. I'd pull her at 9, and since we live 3 blocks from school, let her stop and pick out a lovey to take with.

No return flights available yet, I heard June 4 for SW & Airtran.

An appt would be a great way to do it. John has a P&F shirt that he only wears on the day we go to Disney. The other day Kadence asked him if he would wear it Nov, next year. He promised her the next time she see's him wearing it, will be going to WDW. I think that should be part of it!

When I was in school, we started at 9:15....Highschool was 8:50 ......my DD starts a 8 AM....ICK! And she is not a morning person at all.

OMG, another day?! I do think that it's a good idea to not have the party on your arrival day. I'd be paranoid something would happen with the flight and then you wouldn't be able to go. And I agree with what someone else said, it'll be more fun when you don't have to get up so early!
