Okay, I won't be able to tell you much about the actual drinks we had as I was pretty excited that we got to do the



CHAMPAGNE TASTING at Pink



If you want to do it you sign up beforehand and there is a nominal fee. We arrived shortly before it was to begin, found a table for two and settled in. Once it began we learned a lot about bubble size and the different producers of sparkling wines and champagnes.
Then we got to taste - first of we had

Rosa Regale
I have to admit that I really tried to like it when we first tried it at WDW, but neither Tom nor I like it .... faaaaaaaaar too sweet.

Then we had a medium priced Italian sparkling wine, which was very nice, and the third one was a French Champagne. Sorry, I was too excited to pay close attention to what we were drinking.

Then they were making a Champagne Cocktail which was wonderful ..... and I














forgot to take a photo before enjoying it!

So I guess we will have to do the Champagne tasting again.

To cut this long story short ...... Champagne tasting was wonderful and a lot of fun, very recommended!

It was a wonderful experience, so worth the fee! Oh, and btw, they feed you yummy chocolates in between tastes as well!

You just gave me one more reason to book a cruise on the Dream: the champagne tasting! It looks wonderful! We did the martini tasting on the Wonder and loved it. It's fun to sample new things.

So funny about the hot dogs! Yes, there are hot dogs and then there are Hot Dogs. I love to try new things and find the differences between food cultures interesting, so I have to ask: was the mayo for the french fries?

The DREAM is just wonderful and there lots of fun tastings are being offered.
But the Champagne tasting was really tops! We both liked it a lot.

I had to go back and look for the mayonnaise and I don't think we even used it.
But having mayonnaise and ketchup with French fries is a very German thing, not so much here.

And there is LOTS more food to come!

It was awesome and I cannot wait to do it again on our next cruise in a week's time.
You sign up at Guest Services, it will be announced in your personal navigator and last time we went it was at 3pm I think. It was a fun afternoon thing to do during our Nassau day.

Can't wait for my first Nathan's in August when we stay at the Hyatt at the airport!

My kind of girl! I do not like Casey's hot dogs at all (and didn't try them on the Wonder)... but Nathan's?

We got one on the Wonder, just so we could say we had tried a hotdog and we both loved it. So much more taste than the one at Casey's and then we just needed to have one on the DREAM as well.
So looking forward to trying a Nathan's! It was recommended to me, then I told Tom about it and he got really excited about it. Turns out when he went to NYC with some friends they had had some and loved them too!

As for the Champagne Tasting - it was pretty yummy and I just enjoyed it far too much to pay attention to what we were actually drinking! So I guess I owe it to you all that we repeat the experience.

Nathans franks are GOOD!!! Make sure they cook it a little well done.. just a little... the casing has such good taste!!! & don't forget the extras... I can't eat mustard so everyone looks down on me for having ketchup on me (such a sin!!!) but it's the best I can do... &&&& Don't forget the fries... they are THE BEST!!! I get some cheese to dip them in.

I apologize for not updating, but it has been a rather stressful week at school

we are leaving for WDW and another DREAM cruise tomorrow morning. So please be patient until we return.
