Wow looks and sounds like it was a great dinner!![]()
Wow Karin, That dinner at Animator's looked great. I remember years ago on a cruise I took the seas were quite rough. (Think barf bags taped along all the walk ways!!) While we ate dinner, the dishes kept moving across the table. The fringe benefit was we were the only ones at a table of 8, so the service was great. Too bad others had to be so sea sick, but like you I enjoyed the personal service.
OMG i can go for a Tom's breakfest right now just woke up and have to read this thread why do i do this to myself lmaoDay 13, August 25
Royal Palace
Again, we had chosen the Royal Palace for breakfast and once we arrived at the restaurant we were immediately seated towards the back of the restaurant.
Tom again ordered some coffee and I had some

They were offering some breakfast pastries and Tom got a

Chocolate Croissant. While he thought this was a very good attempt, we are so used to the real French ones that this one did not quite live up to our high expectation.
Tom had ordered some

Swiss Bircher Muesli, Muesli with raisins, shredded apples and yogurt, again. He really enjoyed it very much.
There was something on the menu I wanted to try, ever since I had read about it on Tammie's trip report!

Mornin' Tug Boat, a fresh blend of strawberries, bananas, almonds, raisin granola and low-fat yogurt. Oh my, that was SO good. Fresh and cool and creamy, instant love!

The Big Breakfast, a large filled omelet on savory toast with grilled tomatoes, bacon and baked beans topped with caramelized onions again. He had enjoyed it a few days before and it did not disappoint. Very tasty and filling.
And here we go again ...... my choice

the Traditional Eggs Benedict, Toasted English muffin with grilled Canadian bacon, served with poached egg topped with hollandaise sauce, grilled roma tomatoes and link sausages. I had asked for it to be served without the sausage, but they had put one on anyway.
I don't usually eat Eggs Benedict at home, so whenever we're on vacation, they are a MUST!
How did they taste?![]()

Perfectly cooked poached eggs on top of tasty, slightly salty bacon, sitting on toasted English muffin and topped with hollandaise - what can be better?
Once we had finished our breakfast we were ready for another adventure in Nassau!
Next up - Cabanas

You got eggs benedict??Shocking! That strawberry thing looks YUMMY!
don't they have hollandaise sauce in Europe? You can make Eggs Benny from time to time...

All of that makes me hungry!
I wonder if it has something to do with living in WA state, but apples and dishes made with apples tend to be a sort of comfort food for me. So I bet I would really have enjoyed that cobbler too... enough to start eating it before taking a pic![]()
I love hot dogs, but they are certainly a pretty American thing. I have no idea what they're like at Casey's, though I should keep that in mind when we're there, as Max loves hot dogs.![]()
