Support group for us no pin people!?

Just wanted to say Best of Luck to anyone
STILL playing the waiting game.

New day, New Week. Anything can happen!
:grouphug:

Just wondering, have you tried an alternate address ( a work address? maybe)
That seems to help some?

Good Luck to you either way! Hope you get some kind of deal!
;)

I am out on disability right now and can't access my work email address.
I have 2 comcast, 2 gmail and 4 yahoo addresses that I am using.
I still keep checking them daily but think I am just going to wait until Disney Visa or public FD happens. Who knows, something may pop up on one of them between now and then.

Thanks for all the advice. :thumbsup2

Hi Sunny - can i just check understanding?? I suspect that jgallant means trying different postal/street addresses rather than email addresses.
have I got your meaning correct, jgallant?
Is this what you have tried? :goodvibes

I already have our reservation set up in my name. I made a new disney account in hubby name. What if he gets a code? His name the adult name in our 2nd room, but the reservation is not "in his name"

you will be able to apply to both rooms.

Keep hoping everyone! I got a pin (White Rabbit 20/30/40) on May 7 just 2 days after creating a new account on May 5. I followed the technique most everyone else has. I created a new Yahoo account in my husband's name and used our PO Box instead of the house address and indicated we were staying offsite. I priced out some super expensive itineraries and then saved it. I closed it out without booking anything. When I got the survey (remember to turn off your pop-up blockers and/or ad blocker before you go to the site), I said that it was too expensive. BTW, I went through disneyparks.com.

I would guess that indicating you're staying offsite, saving an expensive itinerary, then taking the survey at the end were a big part of it as well as using a mailing address that wasn't in their system.

Good luck!

Ok, I misunderstood. I will try one last time using my daughters address.
Thanks! :thumbsup2

It really should work, just change the address in the profile after you have received your lucky PIN!
:thumbsup2

Reread OP ( above ) how she got her pin, seems to be common factors!

GOOOOOODDDD LUCK!

Is getting the Explore your Resort a good sign that a PIN Code will follow? Has anyone gotten the Explore your Resort and not gotten a PIN Code? Thanks!

I see that the "Explore your resort picks" email isn't a guarantee that you'll get a pin, but I finally got one on the new account that I set up using my parents' address. Should I "explore" my resort, or leave it alone? At least I feel like I finally have some hope, and I certainly think that it's the different address that got me this far. Any advice? Thanks!!:)

got one almost 2 weeks ago.... still no code

so strange to me!
Do you have a package booked already though? ( THAT should not matter either:confused3 )
You did try an 'alternate U.S. Address too right?
I can't figure out WHY you are not getting one.
:confused3
Good Luck this week though, keep Playing around!
Sounds like a whole new slew of em are coming around again!
;)

if you use your parents address and they aren't going.. don't you have to prove the address or the pin is void at check-in?

Sorry guys, I will have to leave the support group. I got a PIN code!

I had done the whole multiple email thing and no luck. I finally bit the bullet and made a reservation under one of the new emails I had set up, I made the reservation on Sunday. This morning (Tuesday) at 5:07 am Disney Destinations sent me an email to my original email that I usually make my reservations through for 40% percent off!!!!

It says "Enjoy a fairy tale Walt Disney World Deal":

20% off
10/10-10/23
10/31-11/13
11/21-11/23
12/5-12/11
12/19-12/24

40% off
10/3-10/9
10/24-10/30
11/14-11/20
11/28-12/4
12/12-12/18

I changed my dates a little bit, we were going to come in 11/26 thru 12/3, I changed to 11/28-12/4 (so 1 less day) so I saved $600 with the 40% off! I was able to get this for POR-I was surprised, I was thinking that 40% off I would have to pick a Deluxe which even with a discount is out of our price range.

Wishing you pixie dust your way for PIN codes!! Thanks to all of you for your suggestions!!

Nope, first hand experience at this, I tried everything to get a pin code, nadda!
Till I created my very last two email addresses ( with gmail ) and I used a U.S. address, I got the pin within 2 days, and more on those accounts in the days to follow, now tons of Disney Mail. BUT when I called the CM changed the address for me.
Additionally you can create the profile, wait for the PIN, upon getting the PIN, change your profile to all the right info, and call and use the PIN.

:thumbsup2

Let me add a caveat here-the email was sent in my sister's name to my original email address-I just realized it-and we have different last names and they didn't bat an eye about me using the PIN code-which they shouldn't, she was our guest last year and I paid for her total vacation-but sometimes they are sticklers about this. Spoke with Norman and he was a great CM!

Keeping my fingers crossed for all of you!!!!

to this thread to pick up ideas on how possibly to get a pin. I never have received one. I haven't really put any of the ideas in play but this morning received the same (somewhat) pin that many others on this board have. It's a 20% value/moderate and 30% deluxe/villas for the Fall through 12/24.

I'm not going to unsubscribe to the thread though since we can't use it.

Still no PIN. Disney keeps consolidating my emails addresses too - grrrr!

What are they doing? I have found that my current reservation becomes attached to the latest email that I've used on the Disney site, but I still have multiple Disney accounts and emails. I do think that any email that got attached to my current trip is probably not going to get a pin. Most recently, I used DD's computer, deleted the cookies, and then set up a new account that way. Hoping for a pin!:goodvibes
