Supermarket Sweep "The Original 90's version"

I am addicted to the 90's version of Supermarket Sweep and watch it every night on Tubi and every night I watch two or three "sometimes four Supermarket Sweep episodes" on Tubi and I just LOVE it so much that I even decided to skip watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade yesterday and spent the whole morning watching Supermarket Sweep episodes even though my mom kept begging me to see the parade but I was more happy watching Supermarket Sweep. What I can't figure out about Supermarket Sweep is you hardly don't hear much about David Ruprecht anymore and it seemed after Supermarket Sweep ended it's run David Ruprecht disappeared from game show hosting and has been in movies since and David should've become well known in the game show world due to Supermarket Sweep

I think out of all the game shows that were great Supermarket Sweep was one of them because when it first debuted on Lifetime in 1991 I think Lifetime knew that this was the game show that could lead them into a successful channel for game shows and because of Supermarket Sweep's success Lifetime repeated the same success with Shop Til You Drop Born Lucky and Debt but it was really Supermarket Sweep that made Lifetime start a successful game show block. I also know that in later seasons they added new games and challenges to the show to keep it really cool and when I watch Supermarket Sweep I get the questions right before the contestants do

I used to LOVE watching the 90s version with my parents, along with Shop Til You Drop. I was so excited to see the remake, but it was just unwatchable. Way too over the top. Will definitely look for the original on Tubi though!

Did you ever see the Super Sweep Of Champions episodes on Supermarket Sweep? That week the previous winners of $5,000 got to play for a second chance of $10,000. I was very lucky to see this week reran on Tubi today and thought it was really cool. Do you also remember when Supermarket Sweep also had the Twin Car Week where contestants got the chance to compete for two cars? I never have seen these episodes on Tubi and I do hope they show them as well

Yes, I vaguely remember the 60s version. Supermarkets sure have evolved since then.
