I really, really can't wait to eat at Le Cellier with Jen. It's funny because us talking about Le Cellier and how Jen has never tried it is what got us talking about her coming down while I was there. I am so thankful for that! :goodvibes

Unfortunately, I was in a funk when we ate at Le Cellier so I didn't take any food porn picture. I know...I don't know WHAT I was thinking. I plan to take lots for you this time around. So instead of extra pictures today....how about some menu talk....all opinions are welcome!

I keep debating about what I will order. I'm tempted by two different options. I would like to get the Chef's Favorites Menu which is...

The Chefs have chosen a few of their favorites so you can enjoy a truly exceptional Le Cellier experience.
Choose one from each category. No substitutions. $29.99

Appetizers

Mixed Field Greens
Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup*
Spicy Chicken and Chipotle Sausage

Entrées
Shaved Prime Rib Sandwich
Grilled Angus Chuck Burger
Porcini Mushroom Ravioli
Maple Barbecued Grilled Chicken Sandwich*

Desserts
Maple Créme Brulee
Canadian Chocolate Moose*
Seasonal Sorbet

*This is what I would pick.
The only thing that makes me very sad about these choices is that there are no way to have Cream Cheese Mashed Potatoes.

My other option would be to order...
Le Cellier Mushroom Filet Mignon - with wild mushroom risotto, white truffle and herb butter sauce $25.99.
I would substitute the cream cheese mashed potatoes for the risotto...drool.
Then I would order the Canadian Chocolate Moose for dessert.

Decisions, Decisions. I would really like to try the Cheese Soup but will I be sad if I don't have the Filet, which I had last time?

What do you think? Do you have a Le Cellier favorite?

I'm not saying that I don't like the avatar, but it did get me to thinking.....
Oh and the T you have on in the CRT pic, did you make it? I can't see for sure what it says but I'm thinking that I love it!

Personally I'd go for the filet since it's a steakhouse. To me it's a waste to have chicken at Le Cellier. And I so agree about subbing the cream cheese mashers.....those are yum-o! I wasn't a huge fan of the cheese soup. Not that's it's bad, I just found it heavy. Maybe Jen will share a bowl with you.

My hands down favorite is the Mushroom Filet, have always had the risotto but I agree that the potatoes sound very tasty! Is this a meal alone? Marc and I like to share the cheese soup it's great for dipping the bread sticks into!:goodvibes
Last trip we must have been craving chocolate because Marc ordered the Chocolate Moose and I had the Chocolate on Chocolate Whiskey Cake, they were both very good but the Moose was the best!

Why not just order a side of mashed potatoes to go with your sandwich? Maybe an odd combo but who cares? You can't substitute with the chef's menu but I'm sure you can add! ::yes::

Sounds great. I've never eaten there, so I don't have any opinions. But I have a question... Is it wrong for a vegetarian to drool over your menu options, cuz I'm so doing that right now?

I've only ever had the fillet at Le Cellier... but I am a huge fan! Personally, I would go with the steak, mashed potatoes and chocolate moose. That steak is just soooo good.:lovestruc The chicken sandwich does look good, but I feel like it's just wrong not to order steak at a steakhouse.:rotfl:

I'm so looking forward to this meal too! My plan is to order the steak and pay OOP for a cup or bowl of the soup to share.:thumbsup2

Having never eaten at Le Cellier I can't be too opinionated -- but I would order the chicken -- that sounds so good!
:lmao: You have never eaten there? Really. Wow. Are you eating there this time?

I made it but didn't do the DISign. TK aka TarzansKat made it for me.

Here is a closer look for you. It was beautiful and I got a lot of comments on it. :thumbsup2

I'm not sure how much I would like the cheese soup. I think I'm leaning towards the steak. I think I need to find a picture of the chicken sandwich though for a good comparison. :thumbsup2

I'm eating this meal with Jen. I can't remember what she told me she was ordering. I know for sure I am having chocolate moose, it is so good! The crazy thing is that I didn't even really care about the Le Cellier desserts so I just went with the moose and it was like heaven! :cloud9:

If I do get the sandwich then I will absolutely be getting a side of the mashed potatoes.

:rotfl: That cracks me right up!

I'm worried that if I get the chicken then I will regret not getting the filet.

I think that is an excellent idea! :thumbsup2

I can't wait to see what you order when you eat at LeCellier. I also like your new avatar.

This is so easy....

Cheddar Soup

Filet Mignon

Chocolate Mousse

Now where's that easy button when I need it!

to tell everybody about the GREAT buy I got today!

I went to a crocs outlet in Rehobeth Beach (that I didn't even know existed) and found an off white pair of mickey crocs with a pretty pink strap for $9.99. Jibbitz were $3.00 so I got Mickey and Tink. So excited! Thought of all my dis friends as I was wiping out my credit card.

Thanks, LL, for letting me share my news!
