Has anyone ever cruised on the Eastern during SuperBowl? My hubby is "stressing" because SuperBowl is scheduled during our cruise, and usually Sunday is formal night on the Eastern. Do you think they will change formal night? Thanks for any replies!

Very little chance of them changing formal night. Is there some reason your husband can't watch tv while dressing formally?

First of all, unless ABC has the contract next year for the SuperBowl, he might be out of luck entirely! And if they do, even then, I doubt DCL would change formal night for that reason. Keep in mind that on the East Coast kick-off isn't usually until fairly late anyway, so if you have early seating and it is broadcast on ABC, he'll probably be able to scoot to see it!

I understand his pain. I missed the World Series with the Yankees a few years ago. The tv in ESPN showed a bit of it but the satellite, or what ever they used, didn't last long.

Chances are they won't show it.

If he really wants to see the game..skip formal night..order room service and enjoy the evening together. You do not have to eat in the dining room every night.
