Well as everyone who lives in the U.S. knows, today is Super Tuesday! The
biggest part in the presidential primary elections! Who do you want to win the primaries?

I'm leading toward Romney, but I'm also considering McCain. I missed the last Republican debate because I was at work, so I need to watch that before I make my final decision. The Maryland primary isn't until next Tuesday, so I still have time.

I like Romney, too. I think what they did at West Virginia was totally unfair lol.

What happened was Romney was in the lead, Huckabee second, and McCain
last. McCain told everyone that was for him to vote Huckabee because he
didn't stand a chance, he just didn't want Romney to win. And they did. Because
the people that wanted McCain to win did as he said and voted for Huckabee
they knocked Romney right out.

I voted for Huckabee. He was at my church on Sunday and didn't use his time to speak with a campaign speech. He used the time to give his testimony instead. That won major points with me.

Huckabee seems like a great president also, I have no idea why he has
the least number of deligates.

After Super Tuesday so far the leaders on both Republican and Democrat
sides are...

Republican: John McCain
Democratic: Hillary Clinton

They have the most deligates, therefor they are closer to the number
for nomination..

It almost looks as if voting in the states that haven't voted yet is just a formality for the Republicans, with McCain having such a big lead. The Democratic race, on the other hand, should be interesting.

I would vote for McCain. If I had to vote Democrat it would be Obama. I cant stand Hillary!

Yeah, we like Huckabee as well - looks like it's going to be McCain, though. Interesting stuff on the democratic side. One with more states and one with more delegates.

Well our state got Huckabee and Obama.

However, McCain has 680 deligates and the the amount needed to win
is 1,191. He's getting very close, when second place Romney only has 270.
Huckabee has 176 and Paul has 16. LOL

Hilary has 823 deligates. Democrats need 2,025 to win and Obama has 741.

Us VA folks have our primary next Tuesday. I'm a lifelong conservative, and I'll be voting for Romney. He's the candidate with values closest to my own, and I think he'd make a great President. Assuming McCain gets the nomination, I likely will not be voting in November, sad to say.

Well, it doesn't look like you will be able to vote for Romney. I read on Yahoo that he has dropped out.

So McCain the front-runner right now, but I haven't heard that Huckabee has dropped out..


EDIT: Who get's Romney's delegates? I just thought of that.

I read that his campaign was "suspended". I didn't think that meant the same thing as "dropped out". I was under the impression that he just wouldn't be going state to state and campaigning. So he's officially out of the race?

If so, I guess that makes my decision a lot easier, but still...

Yeah, Romney's out.
Read the CNN article, he gave a speech and everything about dropping
out.

Singingrose, I'm not sure who gets them, I think no one does.

If Huckabee doesn't drop out, he'll just be wasting his money
to campaign because it's not easy to catch up with 600 delegates just like
that lol.

McCain now has 714 delegates. Only 400 to go before he's officially
nominated.

if i COULD i would vote Mcain.

Hillary sounds good too. But since i heard from one of my friends that, she would take all troops out of the war, i would DEFINETLEY not go for that.

I would go between Obama or Mcain.

Obama because it would be nice to have somebody, ( dont yell at me for this because im not sure how to say this ) that is like multi-cultured, and sort of from over where the War is going on.

I think that the.. uhmm hmm . the Iraqi or whatever parts, over by them would respect us more if we had a part Muslim leader.
