I hope that one experience with the rude man doesn't stop your mom from using a scooter again. There are also some wonderful people out there too. She needs to do what is best for her and makes he trip more enjoyable. My b/f and I get some looks when he is loaded first onto the busses, but I just ignore them. They don't live our life so they don't have a right to judge.

I am so glad you are planning on coming. I am sorry your friend did that to you, but everything happens for a reason. You might get to meet some Dis people and won't even think about her once you get there.

Thanks, she will never stop coming to disney it is just a matter of whether or not she will get a chair again or not. Eventually they should be able to remove the spurs or make them better. We had a few experiences like that, but a lot of nice ones as well. We had a bus driver scream and swear at us and we had to get a manager to make him stop. I guess the guy was fired though. I just couldnt believe people were doing that in the happiest place on earth. Hopefully you bf doesnt have that stuff happen. We will def have to meet up Do you guys ever go to jellyrolls afterwards? I heard that is where the stars hangout after the park closes.

Most people are really nice to Bill. He is in a power wheelchair. They act like they are going to groan and moan when he starts to get loaded then they see how fast he is at parking it. He then gets compliments on how speedy he is.

We have never been to Jellyrolls, we might have to go over there just for the heck of it this time, lol. I think it would be nice to meet up with you too.

I am hoping that jellyrolls doesnt card at least for that weekend b/c I will only be 19 then. I don't plan on drinking I would just like to hang out. I have seen some pics and blogs and a lot of people said the stars are a lot more relaxed there and more willing to chat and take pics. I will let you know when and where I get my reservations. I know I planning on coming nov 9th to the 12th. If we dont get to meet before that Sat maybe we can meet up at the gate where the stars enter.

Sounds like a plan. I know I change things around about 1000 times before we settle on something. We are going to try to go to Susan Lucci's chat breakfast again on that friday, the tickets aren't on sale yet, they usually go on sale in September, I think.

Yes, we will definately have to hang out together. Faith and I have been doing this together for I think this will be the 6th year!! WOW. I think SSW was the first weekend we "met" each other.

We met with Mona 2 or 3 years ago.

My old boss, Carole, is joining us again this year so it sounds like we will have a big group!!!! I cant wait!!!

It was either 8 or 8:30am and the tickets were $75.00 each last year. The money went to the Little Flower Children Services of NY. It was at the Hollywood Brown Derby. Since Bill is in a wheelchair we were on the upper tier of seating and her husband Helmut came to talk to us several times. He asked us if it would be ok to have us be last and he would walk Susan up to us. She was wonderful and tiny, lol.

We are coming from South Carolina- flying out of Charlotte. Our flight gets in around 4 in Fri and we fly home Monday. Using DVC points to stay at Sarasota Springs.

Mona, you should meet up with Faith and I at Epcot that Friday night. We will be at Epcot...in front of the American pavillion looking for stars.
