super crowded in April??

I have reservations for ASMO for the week of 4/17/15. I called today to check on my reservation and the cm told me that it was a good thing that I booked when I did because it is really crowded. Is it usually pretty crowded the middle of April? We thought seeing it was after Easter, most people wouldn't be taking kids out of school for a vacation. Just curious!

We had originally planned on going 4/17, its my kids spring break from high school and middle school in Connecticut. We had to rescedule and are now going for their winter break on 2/18. Unfortunately both are crowded times.

A lot of schools in the Northeast have that week of school off for Spring Vacation, but I don't think it'll be as crowded as Easter week.

It is our spring break that week. We were there the same time last year and it really wasn't that bad crowd-wise.

Thanks everyone. The last time we went was Sept 99 and it wasn't crowded at all. This is the first trip with the kids (4, 2 & 1). We wanted to get the trip in before our 2 yr old turned 3 and we'd have to pay for him (he'll be 3 the end of April)! I'm sure either way we'll have fun!
