Which would you choose? We have eaten at SS a few times & really didn't care for it. That has been a few years ago, & the reviews are very positive now. Do you think it's a better lunch option than a TS restaurant in WS? We aren't concerned with the amount of time each option would take. Our decision would be based purely on food quality & atmosphere.

I prefer the countries...but if we are starving I would eat at SS

Ha! That's exactly how I feel. SS just doesn't appeal to me at all. There are plenty of CS restaurants in WS too. Don't rule that out. I actually like all of them and prefer them to any of the CS in FW.

I am not too impressed with the choices at Sunshine Seasons. The World at EPCOT is all about the eating for me. Our standard is eating at Teppanyaki (Teppan Edo, now) for lunch (they always had the same menu for lunch or dinner).

Thanks for the input. It sounds like SS isn't that much better, after all. :guilty:

I think we've eaten at all the WS CS restaurants, & agree that they're better than the FW CS. I just thought SS may have improved, due to the rave reviews it seems to get. We'll probably make a lunch ADR for Chefs & one other WS restaurant. We're eating dinner at Teppan Edo one evening. We've always avoided it, due to the communal seating, but think our DS(15) will love watching the chefs, so we're going to try it.

I think the reviews for SS are more for what it is. It's a good valued cs that appeals to a bunch of different people. Personlally if time were not an issue- i'd be all over a TS in the countries.

I enjoy eating in WS but I have to say the sandwiches at SS are one of the best CS meals I have ever had at WDW.

I think a lot of people do like the food at SS. It just personally doesn't appeal to me. I would eat at EU before SS, but that's just my personal preference. Good luck and enjoy the yummy food of the world!!

One word that was mentioned was "atmosphere". We've seen Sundshine Seasons at all times during the day. It was never quiet or uncrowded. It's gotten quite bad with everyone looking to ride Soarin' basically having to go through the area. If people with FastPass times get there too early, they will try and sit in the eating area until their time. We have totally written off Sunshine Seasons from our places to eat because it's never uncrowded. It is fun, though, to stand at the top of The Land and look down at the ant colony. Now, that is Disney entertainment at its finest.

I'm convinced! WS restaurants it is! Now, I just need to decide what other restaurant to choose. Chefs de France will definitely be one of them. We're having dinner at Bistro de Paris & Teppan Edo that week, so those are out. Hmmm..... :scratchin

I have to agree with this. My dh had a panini (I think ham, another Italian meat and cheese) that it was huge enough to share. I had something from the Chinese station that was just so-so.
