We have been talking about whether or not we should pick up a transponder. DH doesn't want to as he thinks we won't use a full pre-load cost in tolls, and therefore the savings and convenience of having it won't be greater than the amount wasted.

Does anyone know how much to expect for toll costs? We are coming in from the midwest, so we will be driving I75 to 93 to I4.

Also, if we go offsite for dining, which we do plan to do sometimes, are there tolls close to Disney property that we can expect to pay? I know what we plan on eating on Apopka Vineland Rd at least once if not more.

The transponder is only good in FL. There are no tolls between Disney and Apopka Vineland Road. There is a toll calculator on Sunpass.com which will give you the toll prices for the roads in FL.

Thank you. We knew the Sunpass was only for FL, and for the roads we will be on, we won't need the EZPass. I found the Sunpass calculator to be confusing for someone like me who doesn't know the area, which prompted my question. It looks like our tolls each way will be under $4, and knowing I won't have to worry about any tolls going to Apopka Vineland Rd, I won't sweat it.
