Summit plummet

Has summit plummet been closed for a while? We are here now and it has been closed for 2 days in a row. My husband thinks it's because of staffing (money saving) and I think something must be wrong with it. Can you guess which one of us is the optimist!! My boys really want to ride it! Anyone have any insider ideas?

According to wdwmagic.com there are technical issues at both Summit Plummet and Slush Gusher. Wonder if it is a waterworks thing?

We have seen a few tops fly off while walking by.

Yes,this is one of the favorite spots for teenaged boys in all of WDW-especially when The Fifteens are there !lol

Sucky!!!! Our fifth stay at WDW, and decided to do something new so we get the Water Park option. Now two of the main attractions at BB are down? Major bummer dude.

We were there Monday . Park employee said a pipe broke late last week-- repair to summit plummet AND crush n gusher will require digging up the wave pool there-- so yes both closed rest of season.

Summit Plummet and Slush Gusher will be closed until after the seasonal refurbishment. Crush n Gusher is at Typhoon Lagoon and unaffected.

Huh, maybe that's why it is closing early? It was supposed to be open until Oct 24th then last week Josh did an update on the operations calendar and I noticed the close date had been moved to the 4th which is a bummer. That means we can't go there on our trip. Oh well, I always preferred TL anyway.

We were there a couple weeks ago and both were working. That doesn't do you any good--just wanted to let you know it has not been down long. Sorry you are missing them. They are great fun. There are alot of other good slides there though.

Argh! Not their fault but what a bummer! We are doing vacation on a budget and are only going to the water parks! We bought the water parks annual pass! Guess we ride it next year!
