Summer Nightastic?

Have any of you experienced Summer Nightastic yet? I have read some comments on the MSEP, but was curious about the other specialties. Has anyone experienced the Tower of Terror updates? I'm so curious!

I have been on ToT but only during the day- I like the changes they made to it. The details when you are sitting on the elevator before you get into the shaft have changed. Also I believe there is only 1 drop sequence. I rode it 6 times in under 3 hours yesterday and I know for sure the last 3 times (in different elevevators) all used the same sequence. I think the first ones also used that same sequence but I can't remember for sure. There are sounds in the shaft I haven't noticed before as well. There are also some basement effects- I only had them happen 1 out of the 6 times I went on the ride(now riding as a single rider I went through the basement very fast). There are also supposed to be lighting effects in the elevator at night which I didn't get to see on this trip.

I did not make it to the dance party at DHS at all during my week but I did see it all set up in front of the hat.

I did see the dance party in tomorrowland one evening- there was a DJ leading everyone in dancing along with Chip and Dale. Seemed to be lots of music from the 70-80s that was being played.

MSEP- a few floats are the same but there are some new/updated floats.

Fireowrks- these are similar in parts to the Pirate and princess Fireworks but there are some difference from them (although the fairies fighting about blue and pink as well as a pirate take over of the castle are in it). They use some of the same overlas for lighting the castle as they had at the parties but it is not exactly the same- kind of a blend of a few shows I have seen in the past. I really enjoyed them both from Top of the World and from Main Street.

I rode Tower yesterday at DLR and noticed the new lighting effects in the elevator. We also noticed some dramatic changes to Midway Mania: new TS3 characters show up in the game screens and Bo-Peep's game had been replaced with something entirely different.

As bwvbound said, there is a new game featuring TS3 characters, but that is a permanent change to Toy Story Mania, not a temporary Nightastic change.

I will say the fireworks for summer nighttastic are awesome. They don't quite tug at the heart strings like wishes but the multiple launch zones make it especially cool when watching from in front of the castle. I've never been to a special party at MK and some have compared them to the fireworks shown on those nights but for a first time viewer I was impressed.

Thanks for the link. My son will love this. I'll be terrified that it will really drop to the ground. (We had that happen at Six Flags in Gurnee, IL many years ago and there were fatalities. I know that was a long time ago and obviously Six Flags is NOT Disney, but I can't remove it from the back of my mind.) I think I'll be praying the entire ride!

The summer extras sound great. We'll be there from 8/10-8/19, so we'll have a few days to try and catch it all before the 15th. I can't wait!!!
