I got interviewed in Liverpool (not exactly the most convenient for me!!!) but at a guess (thinking back 15 months...) I'd say around 70 - 90 on my day.
According to one source, the typical ratio is ten candidates for every position. I'm not sure if this is underestimating as most of the people I talked to around the time of interviews actually got in, but since last summer, Disney has been reducing the number of CPers it takes and even laying off regular cast members. Pesky recession!
It looks as though its gonna be tough to get in to WDW, even tougher for me to get a job as a lifeguard! I never expected that kind of number on the day. Do you know how many interview centre things there are in the UK? Or where you find out where to go, because, YJ live in london, so I guessed it would be down there somewhere.
One of my economics teachers says things will start picking up in the US economy in Jan 10, or sometime next year. This won't mean that they will be employing as much as they were in 08, but they won't be laying anybody off! Heres some more good news as well, UK house prices will start rising in 2013, just in time for grads to buy cheap and sell high. Thats another source from my teacher.
Thanks again
