We did this once this past trip. We headed back in late August/Sept with Free DDP and want to do more lower cost TS restaurants to save for a few 2TS restaurants. We'd pay OOP for the 'value' TS places. We did this at Plaza Restaurant in MK this year and used the credits to go to Jiko.

What are some other TS places where you can get a nice casual meal and it doesn't cost much OOP?

We're staying at BCV so I'm thinking Beaches and Cream is an option but I've love a few more since we want to go to Flying Fish as well.

You can try a "heavy" CS meal for dinner. Pepper Market(CSR) and Tusker House(AK) are CS meals that give you enough food for dinner.

Do the math, it may pay to just pay for your meal at Jiko.

The Plaza Restaurant at the MK is a low-priced TS meal.

Trail's End at the camp ground has a low price lunch and dinner buffet. One of Disney's best kept secret. Lunch at the 50s Prime Time can be reasonable too.

You could use this an an opportunity to dine in a restaurant that doesn't partipate such as the RFC or even the Fountain in the Dolphin.

Marrakesh at Epcot is very inexpensive. I always have lunch there - they have a 3 course special that is about $12! It's yummy and the restaurant is beautiful.
