My friend is taking his wife and daughters for the first time and wanted suggestions for ADRs. He "claims" they're not as into princess' anymore. :)

I thought the Lilo & Stitch character meal--what's it called?
Maybe Hoop-de Doo

They're on the dining plan, if that helps. What suggestions do you guys have? :)

I would recommend 1900 Park Faire. It's still a princess meal, but a lot of fun with the step-sisters and wicked stepmother!

Ohana's breakfast is the Lilo and Stitch character meal...

I would also go for some of the great themed places - like Sci-fi or Coral Reef. There are also fun places like Chef Mickeys, Teppan Edo, Crystal Palace, 50's Prime Time, Donalds Safari Breakfast....all lots of fun for the kids!:goodvibes

breakfast is at Ohana. It's probably a good option. Hoop-Dee-Doo Review should also work. A couple more recommendations would be Whispering Canyon at the Wilderness Lodge and Sci Fi in DHS for lunch.

My daughter enjoyed Ohana for dinner - they had hula lessons and Whispering Canyon at WL is lots of fun.

My kids also love Chef Mickeys.

Is your friend Barack Obama? Those girls are just about the ages of his two (10 & 7). I can just imagine, them and the secret service at WDW. :lmao:

Chef Mickey's should work for the entire party (Dad too).

Coral Reef was awesome too.

As for the Princess thing, you can only really do that right at Disney, so as a treat for the parents I say take them to a Princess meal; they grow up so fast. No matter how "cool" Cinderella will bring a smile and a twinkle. I think 1900 Park Fare is a good choice for that dinner. At breakfast 1900 Park Fare features the Mad Hatter, Mary Poppins and friends and that could be fun too.

I am not a fan of Pooh, esp. for kids that age, but the location and food reviews suggest the family should consider it.

I would also recommend 1900 Park Fare, Coral Reef and 50's Prime Time. . .these were fun for everyone in our group.

I have two DDs - 9 and 6. They really like going to the Biergarten. There's a wide variety of food and they love the show - especially the chicken dance.

At DHS, Sci-Fi is their favorite. They love sitting in the car and watching the movie.

My daughter (7) has not been into princesses since age 5 probably. I thought she wouldn't enjoy the princess character meals this past January. I was wrong. She couldn't wait to tell Ariel, "You are my favorite." She even loved the more kiddie characters: Minnie, Goofy, etc. She grinned and grinned at them. Having done several character meals, she wants to do more when we go in January. The moral of the story: don't write off princesses just yet!

I would suggest Sci Fi and Park Fare as others have suggested. We're also going to go to Raglan Road and perhaps Biergarten on our next trip.
