Suggestion on which Interstate this weekend

Traveling from WNY to Tampa. Was wondering if 77 or 81 would be better to travel. Want to keep away from the one with the most constructions.

Realize both have the good and the bad but if anyone has recent info, I would greatly appreciate it.

Leaving around 5am Friday, will drive 12-13 hours the first day.

What part of WNY exactly?

Having driven I-81 from Northern Virginia to Blacksburg many times I would avoid it if you could. It can get somewhat congested with truck traffic.
