Chapter 14- Celebrate a Dream Come True!
July 26th, 2011
For those of you who guessed Casey's for lunch...you were right!
Those hot dogs and red and white tables are so classic. Definitely one of my favorite CS places.
We made our way over there and passed this pretty fountain. This pic is for Jess, because she LOVES this little corner of the Magic Kingdom.
The piano player wasn't out then, but that's okay because I am sure that another form of lunchtime entertainment will present itself eventually!
Such a great place to be.
We ordered our food and Dave went to find us a table outside. Mike had wanted to sit on the "bleachers" and watch cartoons, but they were already jam-packed.
We got a table with a nice view of the Castle and Main Street and chowed down. Mike and Dave each had a chili cheese dog and french fries.
And Cracker Jacks!
I had a regular hot dog and french fries, with a brownie for dessert, and of course that large lemonade on the DDP!
The buns were a bit larger than the hot dogs, which made for a little extra bread, but they were delicious and the fries were warm and crisp. The brownie was chocolatey and rich. Perfect!
YUM.
As we were eating lunch, the Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade started! I was so excited that we could just watch it from our table! It wasn't the best view in the world, but I managed to get some pics and we didn't have to wait for it!
First, Mickey and Minnie themselves!
Why hello Princey!
Prince Ali! Yes it is he, doesn't he look good?
Alice, the Mad Hatter, and Peter Pan came by!
The Fairy Godmother stopped and said hello.
Followed by Cinderella and Prince Charming!
I love these floats! They remind me of the Pirate and Princess Party. That was the BEST.
Then, Ariel and Prince Eric came by!! YAY! I love them.
Prince Eric looks like he's about to sneeze.
THIS is why I want to be Ariel. She's adorable. So spunky and fun.
Tiana and Naveen passed by too. This was before I had even seen the movie/liked Tiana.
Last but not least was Belle and the Beast! I love Belle's dress, it's gorgeous. Ariel's is my favorite though. The color is gorgeous.
I loved the parade! It was so entertaining, and a perfect addition to our lovely lunch. All the princes and princesses were there, as well as a bunch of the other characters, some of which I didn't get pics of. The music is so catchy and it was just such a fun way to spend our first meal in the parks.
