Well I'm very glad that you were in your happy place, getting soaked on Splash. I completely agree with your thoughts on WWoHP vs. Disney. I love HP, but Disney is in my heart.

I love the Jungle Cruise when you get a good skipper. The last skipper we had was kind of crazy and she just yelled the jokes the whole time. My niece and nephew were like the whole ride.

ICE CREAM. Why am I not there stuffing my face right now? Life is just tragically unfair. Yes, me not eating ice cream is very much a tragedy.

As an avid Stacey worshiper, I, of course, read "You're gonna get wet" in her voice. She is my queen.

The most fun I've ever had in the Country Bear Jamboree was during an EMH night like 6 or 7 years ago when we sat behind a group of drunk twenty-something guys. They were completely plastered and it was absolutely hilarious. They had everyone in the audience clapping and dancing along. It was amazing.

I had a dream the other night that I was doing the College Program and worked as a Jungle Cruise Skipper. When I woke up, I was really bummed out. Why is that not my life? Wearing two different shades of khaki is my dream, man.

I know what you mean about being illegitimately British. I'm the same way. It's getting even worse now that I'm marathoning the Harry Potter books.

Now that you've mentioned that HoP video, I'm gonna have to go watch it. I will never not laugh hysterically at that video.

Your trip sounds like it's off to a wonderful start. We always have to visit Magic Kingdom first thing, too! It's not a Disney trip until you can see that lovely castle

Um, I totally had a friend who got to do the Jungle Cruise on the college program. When we did Disney together, he made sure that we always rode it. A good skipper totally makes or breaks that ride.

I am too! Do you know who Jim Dale is? He narrates the Harry Potter books and I am listening to all 7 of them. He is BRILLIANT. I'm on Chamber of Secrets now and I can't get enough! I've been listening to him since I was like, 11, and he is just amazing.

Hello readers! It's almost Friday! I thought I'd do another quick update in between studying and homework. :/

When I last left, we were headed to one of my very favorite rides of all time.

The Haunted Mansion!!!

The shirt that has been getting him so much attention.

I was extra excited about this particular visit to the Haunted Mansion, because I hadn't seen the new queue yet!

It was soo cute! I sort of felt like I was holding up the line to take pics, but it was definitely worth it! I loved how interactive it all was! Such a Disney-fied graveyard!

Now, of course, I will entertain you with loads of pictures!

Here I am with my deceased friends:

These were so cool! You touch the instrument and it makes the exact sound! Awesome.

This was really fun too, it's like a real organ! It made eerie music and we loved playing it.

These bookshelves were Mike's favorite. He ended up pushing one book in, and all the rest popped out!

This tomb squirts water and has bubbles. There is also the sound of a man gargling (or drowning) from inside. The guy apparently died in a bathtub. I was one of those people who saw the puddle of water but was still surprised when I got squirted.

I love these two tombstones. Classic.

Ah, the stretching room. Make sure you fill in all the dead space and move into the dead center of the room!

After our visit, we headed out of Liberty Square to go to lunch.

Haunted Mansion is my FAV MK attraction, by far. Always has been. I am that person that mimics the stretching room dialogue. "Kindly step all the way in please. There's no turning back now."

I love the new interactive queue. The bookshelf was my favorite.

You know I've never seen the Country Bear Jamboree. It's just never really something that has appealed to me. I know this is probably Disney blasphemy but those bears creep me out a little.

You're right, Hall of Presidents is SO inspiring! I always love it and the America show at Epcot (I'm having a brain fart and can't remember what it's called). John always falls asleep in both, but I leave feeling so patriotic. "Aaaamerica, spread your golden wings...." I love it!
