Anyone who has stayed in a studio (BCV or BWV) did you find it comfortable for 4 people? Thanks for replies!:p

I think if you'd be okay in a regular hotel room in one of the values or moderates, you'd be fine in a studio. There isn't a second bed in BWV or BCV studios, there 's a pull-out couch (full size, I believe). This can be folded up during the day for more space in the room. There's a kitchenette, too.

Old Key West, by the way, has two queen beds in its studios. They're also larger than the BW/BC studios.

We stayed last summer for 3 nights at Beach Club in a studio. The room is very bright and nice and there is a lot of room when you first walk in for "stuff." There are doors where you would walk through if it was a one-or two-bedroom and this floor area was great for sandals, pool toys, etc. There wasn't too much closet space (small) or many drawers, but we did OK. The bathroom is a nice size and the sink is outside, which is good if someone is showering and bad if everyone else is asleep. The studio is, as posted above, basically a regular hotel room with a kitchenette, so make your plans based on that.

Overall, we liked the studio at BCV, but wished it had 2 full sized beds or 2 queens instead of 1 queen and the full sized sofa bed. I tried the pull out sofa and it was not flat, had a 3 or 4 inch mattress (thin by most standards) - overall, a tough night's sleep for an adult.

Next time, if we stay at BCV, would bring an air mattress, or if we can afford it, upgrade to a 2 bedroom. Probably just stay at OKW with the 2 queens - hard to give up SAB though...

Good luck with whatever you decide....

We stayed at BWV last year in a studio - 3 adults and DD (8). I carry a twin size air mattres for DD and my BIL slepr on the pull out couch. We were able to fit the air mattress on the floor and I think even left it down. Overall I thought it was fine. If it is four adults, though, you may yourselves fighting to sit on the balcony (it really only holds 2 and was our favorite spot.)
