Stroller- ship or not to ship?

We are ordering yet another new double stroller much to my DH's chagrin......So my question is should i just ship it down to the resort and save the drama of draggin it thru the airport even if i may find it useful to a degree to haul the car seat? Has anyone done this? Do you know how long they will hang on to something before you arrive when staying on property?

I don't want to pay storage.

The only downsides about just picking it up there is coming home i won't bring the box if i want to sell it later i won't have it for shipping, and i won't have it to test drive with thekids and practice the fold, etc. I won't have it to haul the car seat thru the airport either.......oh the turmoil

I just ordered a stroller and had it shipped to the resort. They will hold it for 2 weeks-I have no idea what happens if it is there longer.

I'd have it shipped to you. We just ordered a new Joovy and the handle was cracked I'm glad I have a few weeks before our trips to get it fixed....I wouldn't have that option if I'd had it shipped to the resort, and it usually takes them 2-3 days to get a new one out to you, so by then a bunch of people are 1/2 way through their trip and it's not worth it.

OMG i hadn't even thought of that! We received a Peg missing handles and i forgot about that until i saw your post. Good point i'll drag it along thrut he airport, Ivc'e decided to order it 9/15 that'll give us plenty of buffer time.
