Hi,
I love the strollers that you have in USA, so I want to buy one this Septemer when I visit Florida.

My son will be 5½ years old and he is about 43 inches and 44 lbs.

I know that he's a bit old for a brand new stroller, but he's too small to walk all day long for 2 weeks. And hopefully I will need the stroller for another child in the future.

It would be nice if you could pull back the backseat so he can sleep lying down and it must be easy to fold.

The price isn't the most important factor, so suggestions in all priceranges are welcome.

Online stores are ok, but stores in the Orlando area would be fine too.

Thanks,
Christina

I use a jogging stroller exclusively. I purchased an expensive umbrella stroller, but it was so much harder to push than my jogger. I'm sure it was nice for an umbrella stroller, but I had been spoiled by how easy the jogger is.

Here is a link to the one we use (still use it for Disney trips). It lays all the way down and even will accomodate an infant seat if you have another baby.

If you want to spend more, I have several friends who also love their Bob strollers.

The two lightweights that come to my mind are the baby jogger city mini and the I'coo Pluto. If you are interested in and A/T stroller my choice it the baby jogger city elite. The elite is what I currently use for my dd7 she weighs 65 pounds and is 42 inches due to her low tone and special needs it has all the space she needs and a really good push. the accessories for the mini and the elite are interchangeable.

I bought a Perego Pliko P3 for my niece who was about the same height and weight as your son when she was almost 5 yrs old. She did use the stroller again the next year when she was almost 6 yrs old. Now that she is 7 she is too big for it-weight and height.

I purchased mine from www.albeebaby.com and had it shipped to the resort. I had no trouble putting it together.

I bought one as we go for 2 weeks and it was slightly more to purchase over renting.

A stroller that I didn't know about at the time is the City Mini. I might have picked that one. We tried out the Maclarens and the Peregos at a Baby store and the P3 was the best.

Thanks for your suggestions.

I actually found out that I can buy the Baby jogger City Elite here in Denmark where I live but it costs over $800:eek:.

I think that I will go with the Elite model since the weight capacity is 75 ib.

Do you know if my son will fit in the stroller if I buy the tray? I thought it would be nice for him to be able to have a drink in front with him.

My dd fits w/ plenty of room to spare so he should have no problem. Yikes at that price you can get the elite and a few accessories to go with. I love my baby jogger and the elite has the option to attach a bassinet.
