Stroller advice for "older" kids

We did Universal last year stroller free with my then 6 and 9 year olds. This November it is COLD in the am so the stroller went along as coat storage for Disney we generally still take it but my kids are small and my oldest gets migraine headaches (his first happened in the MK at 2.5 years old) If he get one in the back of the park, there is no way I can carry him to the car. Even if we just park it for most of the day, I like to have it as a security blanket, and a place to put stuff!!

On our last trip we took a double for our 5 year old and a single for our 2 year old. When talking G about it at home the older kids thought we were crazy getting them to try out strollers. But they were so glad to have it there. They were able to get so e rest and we were able to get through the crowds faster.
We're going back in Nov. This year we'll take one double. The 3 year old will always have a seat and the 7 year Olds will switch off. I think it's worth it. We will leave the stroller for extra space coming home.

My daughter is 8 and a bundle of energy, but after a 12 hour day, she will be tired and there is no way I will be able to carry her out of the park after Wishes. So much easier to put her in the stroller and push her so we are bringing it. It's also a plus to hold jackets and some bottles of water. It's a hassle to bring it on the plane, but there is no way we are going without it. We definitely needed it last year at Disneyland. Even though she is a year older now, I'm positive she will still use it.
