Flying out of Hartford/Springfield to MCO tomorrow at 6:30 pm with a stop in Baltimore (no plane change) on SW. We'll be cutting it tight missing the snow storm. SW said it's possible that they will skip BWI and go directly from BDL to MCO. Has anyone had any experience with SW skipping a stop and making the flight a non-stop? I'm thinking it is wishful thinking! No flights were available to get out earlier. Snow. Boo. Yuck.

The people staying in Baltimore or connecting elsewhere wouldn't be too happy. It's possible if BWI is closed, they would have to leave those people at BDL. I'd also be concerned about your plane getting to BDL, depending on where it's coming from.

Good point, DebbieB, I could be in trouble on multiple levels! :(
Baltimore TV is estimating snow to start around 10pm. Fingers crossed! Snow. Boo. Yuck.

Our flight from Westchester on FRIDAY morning was cancelled last night. There's not another flight out until NEXT Wednesday. Hope you guys are luckier than we are.

I believe Southwest is letting customers switch to other flights without paying a difference in fare, if that helps. We leave Hartford on Fri morning and need to decide if we keep that or try something else. Providence is going to get 1/2 the snow as CT, so that's a possibility.

Where can you find the flight trackers to see where/when your plane is flying in from? If I thought the flight would arrive at Hartford the night before, I'd be pretty comfortable we would leave sometime on Friday morning.

I hope Thursday is it and it all gets cleaned up and Friday is ready to go business as usual!!! Stressed too:headache:

Yes, I have seen this. They do it quite often when there is weather as it gets the plane where it needs to be to do the next flight. I have read several reports today where SW skipped the Raleigh stop and went directly to the next stop on the airplanes "routing"

The flight left BDL at 6:55pm, now at the gate at BWI, scheduled to leave at 8:40 (about 25 min late).
