Space 2020 is opening next week!

Does anyone have any idea how to snag an ADR?

Is there any word or date and time they will open the system up? Would it be better to try and be on the phone or on MDE?

We will be in Orlando for business the week of October 16th and I would love an opportunity to try the place but I don't even know where to start for strategy!

Anyone know anything or have any plans themselves? Thanks guys!!

Monday as soon as ADRs open will be crazy again. I forsee a quick crash of the system. Then up intermittently. If luck is on your side, it will be up when you are logging in.

I see someone from the Patina Group went to The Boathouse. Haha
1.5 LBS BAKED WHOLE LOBSTER STUFFED WITH JUMBO CRAB*

My strategy is to not book. Not paying $220 before tax and tip for my family of 4 to have a lunch consisting of an app and entree or $316 for dinner For an app, entree and dessert.
It's definitely not for everyone. I'm sure there are tons of people who will take a pass because of the cost. But I thought this thread was for discussing how people who do want to go will be able to get reservations.

Maybe that poster actually wants a reservation, and their strategy is to spread negative posts so that others won't want a reservation... thus making room for them. LOL... I don't know.

I think it will be a tough reservation to get initially. I would just stalk the reservation site until I got one. Sometimes if you don't get one initially, something will open up later as people's plans change.

I'm not going to even try this trip. The price for the offerings seems off at first glance. I will wait for the reviews and assess for next trip.

I've decided to try the lounge first. then I can get a taste, and a look around. but if you want a reservation, get online the morning you are eligible. Maybe consider using the website, rather than the app.

I wonder to what extent they will have to control access to the lounge. It seems like a lot of people may want to do this. I believe at Cali Grill, they don't let you up in the elevator if there's no room, but with a restaurant as new and different as Space 220, I'm sure Disney won't want too many people standing around the entrance waiting for room to open up.

Will reservations be made through the Patina Group or through the normal WDW dining reservation page?

Do you think that the lounge is just for guests with reservations ? They offer food there so will there be a way to go and eat at the bar, without a reservation ? Also, I see that BOG lunch ends very early, do you think this will be the same for Space 220 ? I am thinking about Linner. All opinions appreciated.

Lounge appears to be walkup only. You may get a callback or you may have to wait until there is space (yep space)

Patina's restaurants inside Epcot are on the WDW reservation system and nowhere else, so it is probable this one will be as well.
