Okay...I have two:
First one not at WDW, but at work. Co-worker is taking her children and grandchildren to WDW (about 10 of them). I asked her if she was doing any of the Grand Gathering events, she did not know what I was talking about. Oh, but they were going to eat her and there and everywhere.
Me: "Oh, good you got all of your dining reservations (does not know ADR terminoligy)"
Her: "No, not yet I'm thinking of calling next week and getting it done."
She is going in the middle of October, the week after me. I didn't have the heart to tell her that she may not get in some of the places she mentioned especially with a party of 10+. I told her I wouldn't hesitate any longer and then I had to catch up to my other co-workers.
I did offer her my help when she first told me she was interested. But she never followed up....I hope her trip goes well.
Next, I may have said on another thread but this was a couple of years ago. We had just gotten out of our dinner at CRT and
MVMCP had already started. Since we did not have tickets, we were exiting the park. On our way we witnessed a man in the middle of Main Street yelling at this poor CM. He was upset at how crowded the party was and that they paid all of this extra money not to have these crowds of people. He "demanded" that Disney lessen these crowds immediately or he expected a full refund...this was unacceptable! The poor CM was trying to explain it was a sold out night, but this continued to say that was unacceptable and that he wanted people kicked out.
Yes, the park is just for you. We did not stay to see what happened, since were not part of the party and if we had tried to intervene he probably would have used that as part of his justification for being right. The way he was yelling, I'm sure security was on it's way.
