Stormtroopers, Mickey Bars, and Mission Space, Oh MY!

I left off at the end of Mission Space. Now, they all did the orange side, and we did it before lunch on purpose!! LOL After they get off, Chris had to go to the potty, so we headed out towards the gift shop. I got this pic of Tyler. He loves the SW stuff!!

you can't see his eyes, but he's actually awake!! Go figure! We're piddling around in the gift shop, and Amanda asks where the bathrooms are!! She said it was an emergency, so I pointed her that direction, and then went to wait on them both to get out. I wasn't aware of what was going on....but when they got out....Amanda got sick!!!! I've seen more of my share of people hanging on the garbage cans coming off that ride, so it wasn't too funny. She was fine....until we got near the door. We think the heat got to her, and right after that ride, it was just too much.

We headed over towards the World Showcase, so we went by the lake area. We had to stop at the bathrooms again and before we got to WS, I got this picture.

Poor Amanda!!! We got her some water, and that helped. We made it to Mexico....and my loving hubby went up the ramp side for me, instead of the stairs!! I love it when he thinks of me!!! We went on the Mexico boat ride...and they loved that ride too. Sara mostly. That ride has lots of colors, and music, and she was just in awe!!

We left out of there, and Amanda was feeling better. The AC helped her out I guess. We went outside, and Donald was out there. So we got pictures with him, since his line wasn't very long. Chris tried on a goofy hat!!

I got more pics with Donald on the photopass. We head over towards America to eat lunch, and saw these guys on their way out.

We ate, and everyone was happy. Amanda and them wanted to see Japan gift shop for the Hello Kitty stuff, so we pointed them that way, pointed Matt to a smoking area, and met up with them in Japan. On the way there, we got a few pics of my guys, and hats. For some reason, that's our thing, is hats!!

Weird, yes I know!! I'm gonna cut this one off here, and update the last part of Epcot later on!! Still no Mickey Bars!!!

Yea, we all felt bad for her!! She talked big coming off that ride tho. I tried to warn her.....Ah well. It didn't ruin the rest of the day, so that's all that matters. We do think it was the heat that caused it.

I just realized I don't have all this day's pictures in the photobucket!! UH OH! Gotta go kick DS off the desktop to finish uploading them!!

Hey there ya are!!! Next time you come down, call me, I'll go on MS with you!!! There's a few things I can't do tho, Dinosaur is one of them, it hurts me too bad.

That specific pool was the quiet pool for the treehouse area. It was about a 3 minute walk from where we were at. We were in treehouse 7031, which is darn near the perfect villa!! I've read reports that 7030 was the best, but I think I might have to disagree.

My child.....I have NO clue what has happened to him, he's off school, and all he wants to do is eat and sleep. We think he's in another *gasp* Growth spurt. Not that he needs any more, he was the shortest one in the 3 Irvine's picture from the first day, he's JUST 13!! Matt's 19, and Chris had just turned 41, so he's almost looking his daddy in the eyes!!!

We cooked 3 nights, I was able to spread out the credits, use our rewards card for the TS breakfast, we bought lunch the first day OOP since we didn't have our KTTW card yet. But yea, we did go thru them all....had fun shopping at Goofy's in DTD on the way home to use up the 28 remaining snack credits!! Talk about being in heaven!!! HAHA Cooking the dinners was a nice break, having the QS dining. Otherwise it woulda been pizza and burgers all week. AAHH!!! I had snacks, and juice and sodas in the treehouse too, basically said open house!! Drink what ya want! LOL and we brought some home. So we did good!! We even came home with MONEY left over!!! God forbid!! HAHA We just used the credits different then alot of people do. Plus with the baby we wanted breaks, so dinner time was an easy choice. She didn't want to sleep in her stroller. She'd sleep in the car, but I didn't drive too much. And as soon as we got to the treehouse, and was unpacking, I gave her that Minnie, and she hung on to it the whole time we were there. I thought that was just awesome. She wouldn't let me hold her....but that's alright. She liked the stuff that was linked to me. There were few flickers of "you're not too bad" From her, with the exception of the bite, and scratching my face....didn't like that too much.

I'm gonna finish up the Epcot part, we hopped to MK, and I got a couple pics of that, but those are the ones that aren't uploaded.

I'm sorry I've been slow on updating, got my step daughter in town, and since it's summer time, been taking her and Tyler to disney here and there, and doing stuff with them, so I've been busy!!

So, we were in Japan, all pretty much all over in that big store. This is our first hiccup of the trip....it was a huge misunderstanding on pretty much everyone's part, which is ok, as long as it doesn't happen all the time.

Jon wanted to go back to the room, we didn't have dinner to cookin the treehouse this night, this was one that I wanted to eat at the parks. So, we're all in Japan, all thinking that after this we'll go back to the room. Well, shoot. I don't wanna go back to the room!! I found Matt, he was trying to get me to try on one of those Japanese robe thingies, and it wasn't happening. So.....I got him with the umbrella.

Now, this here was the moment that started the "me and Matt" part!! I mentioned to him that everyone wanted to go back, and he wasn't into it either, so I said lets us stay back. So he was all for it, so off to find DH!!

Well.....they all went back to the room. I'll get to the hiccup later on. Me and Matt went on a hat trying on spreeee thru out the World Showcase!!!

He accidentally made a Hidden Mickey with this picture of me!! I realized it when I looked at it. We both thought it was cool.

and then I had to have him with a crown!!! This one was Jasmine's I believe!!

We had a good couple hours together, and he opened up to me, which was nice. Had good talks, lots of laughs, it was totally awesome!!!

Then, I get a call from Chris, him and Amanda want to go to DHS to ride Rockin Rollercoaster, I guess Amanda got up the nerve to go on it finally. Uh, ok. Thought we were going to MK?? OK...fine. We were headed to find them anyways, so I said I'd meet you guys at MK, but Jon was left with Sara, Andrew and Tyler, so he thought I should go to the room first. Ok. That's what we did. Chris was sounding upset, and I wasn't sure why at this point.

So, we get to the treehouse, and was waiting on Chris's call to say they were done, so I uploaded pics. Andrew and Tyler were both passed out in the bunk room, so Jon only had Sara. Not too bad, I didn't think anyways.

We got the call and we were off! I got the boys up, and we all headed out. We got off the bus, and Jon became Mr. Grumpy!! Not sure why. He was fine until we got to MK. Chris and Amanda weren't too far behind us, and caught up to us quickly. Amanda was asking how Jon was, and if he changed the baby, and I wasn't sure, so I told her that, and we went to the potty to change the baby while the boys were in the crystal shop. Amanda told me that Chris was mad at me for staying back, cause I assumed that everyone was going back, and he didn't want to go back, it was only Jon. So.....there's the confusion. I guess Jon was upset that Amanda and Chris left him alone with all 3 of the kids.....uh, 2 of them were sleeping!! So....we all had a good talk, and then did all our apologies, and all was right again in our world.

We went to eat at Cosmic Rays, I got the chicken platter with the green beans and mashed taters. It was good. After that we went on the Tomorrowland Speedway, I rode with Andrew of course. The whole way thru the line he was going back and forth with the idea of driving. I just went with it. He ended up driving. After that we went to Winnie the pooh, and then I believe it was time for Wishes. We watched Wishes from Fantasyland, which we had to look back and forth, which wasn't a big deal. Sara enjoyed it, and Andrew was right by my side. After that, we knew the next day was our last park day, and we were checking out that morning, so we knew it was gonna be an all day thing. So, we did the mass exodus after wishes.

BIG MISTAKE!!!! It was horrible!!! People racing to get out when it's wall to wall people. UG! some guy bumped my right shoulder, and hurt me pretty bad, almost knocked me down!! I was about crying, it hurt so bad. Matt was near me, and saw it, told Chris, and he went and bumped the guy back. Not hard, but enough to get his attention. The guy started to say something, and Chris basically said DON'T!! You about knocked my wife down, and she's disabled. So he huffed out the park. Thank GOD!! I've had my share of arguments with other people, I wasn't in the mood. We got back to the room, and packed, and got ready to check out the next morning.

Still no Mickey Bars.... Next up, Animal Kingdom!! Last day!!!

Matt is fun, last time before this trip I saw him, he was a snot nose pre-teen, and now we're talking about drinking and stuff!! How'd I get so old???

The guy was horrible. I was almost in tears. Chris was beyond mad!! Our group was split up, Chris had Andrew on his shoulders a little bit in front of me, Jon had the stroller somewhere behind me....but if Matt wasn't there with me, I probably would have been trampled on the ground. It was that bad. I put bump in there, but it was more like he plowed me over!! I guess all the people around wasn't a bad thing, cause I was able to catch my balance, then grabbed my shoulder. He was doing that to a bunch of people just pushing thru the crowd! I never will understand why people rush so bad over there!! They do it ALL the time!!!

Thanks!!! Yea, we're a hat family. I got BUNCHES of hat pictures!! Actually, right now on my facebook page, I put up a pic of my dad in his birthday hat we got him, which was from WDW!! My dad started it, every 'big' birthday, he's got to get a crazy hat, and then someone the next time has to try to top it. It's fun. So far the craziest ones was a pink flamingo that my dad got for his 60th, and a big red crab that my best friend Sylvia got for her 30th. It's all fun tho!!

I didn't realize I was getting Sara thru the fish tank, I was trying to get the fish, and of course you can't use flash, or they turn out all white, and you can't see anything, so I was messing with settings on the camera, took pictures, deleted them if they weren't just right, you know, the usual tourist thing!! I looked at one, and it was just like, HEY!!! That's cool!!

AK yesterday was AWESOME with the kids. I just love that park!!!

I'll get to our AK day hopefully tomorrow. That's gonna be a long update, cause I got LOTS of pictures from that day. I guess I realized that I needed more pictures or something I dunno!! Plus I'll share Friday, we weren't at WDW, but we went to the beach. So I'll share that too. Matt had never seen the ocean before. I didn't know that, and just couldn't comprehend that. Guess I'm spoiled growing up near the beach in Florida!!

This park is one of my favorites. I love all the animals, and the shows!! Amanda and her crew like zoos, and aquariums, so we figured they'd love AK.

We started out the day packing stuff up, and loading the cars. So Chris went to the main building to get his car while I was in the shower. Since I walked the day before, I was feeling it. So I was moving slow. Everyone helped me out, which I greatly appreciate!!

We got everything loaded, and headed to the main building to check out, and grab breakfast. While packing the car, we realized that Tyler couldn't find his cell phone. So, while we were at the main desk, we reported it, and filled out the paperwork hoping someone would find it, and send it to us. Uh, nope. But that's another story!!!

For breakfast, this time I got the waffle platter. Tyler got it too, and didn't want it as usual. He's kinda picky. So, I ate my waffles, AND his!! Yea....they put SOMETHING in them waffles!!!!

So, we finish breakfast, and then we're off to AK!! We get in the park, and we gotta stop and look at all the animals on the way in. Which is fine, I like doing that. We get to the Spoon Billed Storks, that look like flamingos, and Matt comments that he's never seen flamingos!!! Uh, has this boy lead a sheltered life or what!!

Then we look at the animals near the entrance.

We head to the safari first thing. I do know that the animals are always out first thing, and the line was already 40 minutes long. Fastpasses were for about noon, so we went ahead and got in line. I got a few pics while in line

And then, about 30 minutes later, we were on our truck!!!

There were LOTS of animals out, and it was one of the best safari's that I've been on. I'm glad too, I've been on there where there was NOTHING out!!

As you can see, LOTS of animals, including the female lion. We usually see the Male sitting out there. After the safari we went thru the Pangini forest. I'll start that in a new thread also, as we got lots of pics there too!!!

We got lucky!! It was hot, and about 10am by the time we got on there. I thought we were gonna be outta luck to see any animals, but we saw a bunch!! That lion shot is one in a million!!! Trust me on that one!! Usually you can see one of them, usually the male, and he's 99.9% of the time sleeping. I'm SOOOO glad we got a good safari for the newbies. My mom and sister didn't see many animals, cause they didn't want to get to the park early. That's a must for that ride!!

So after the safari, we head to see more animals thru the Pangini forest. Again, there were more animals out, and it was pretty neat. We also enjoyed the props!!

Amanda was in HEAVEN!!! She was taking pictures of anything that moved!!

With their love of zoos and aquariums, this was right up their alley!!

And of course with us being as silly as we are, it was right up ours too!!

After walking thru the forest, we head towards Rafiki's Planet Watch. I love that area, cause it's never busy, and it's one of them spots in AK that is always bypassed for bigger rides and such. Andrew LOVES trains, and we didn't ride the one in MK, so I knew we had to ride this one!!

Here comes the train!!!!

We get over there, and get a few pics.

We get inside, and Chris had to get Amanda's pic in front of the spider on the wall. I got one like this too. Both Amanda and I are VERY afraid of spiders!!!

So...we look around inside, let the kids play a little bit. We went outside to the petting zoo, got cleaned up. Matt got me a little Tigger in his safari outfit, and a coffee mug with Pooh asking "Tigger, is that you?" To a real tiger. I wasn't expecting that, and it was really cool!!

After everyone was clean from the petting zoo, it was getting kinda hot, so.....I saw a cart, and Chris wanted a drink, so I yelled.....GET 8 MICKEY BARS TOO!!!!! So....we got our Mickey Bars!! Andrew had his stick fall out, so he ended up a really good mess. I told Amanda and Jon both....DON'T TOUCH, let them eat!! LOL

Those are all the before pictures. Here comes the after!!

We were all glad we were able to get them. I was on a mission this day to make sure we got them!!! Next up, Everest, and the Lion King show!!
