Hi everyone!

We'll be leaving to WDW next month our first trip there and I will be bringing my Canon Rebel XTi SLR camera. Right now I only have 1 2gig memory card. I obviously need more storage for the amount of pics I'll be taking.

I was thinking of buying an additional memory card and bringing my laptop with us and uploading them at the end of each day.

What does everyone use to store their photos when at WDW?

TIA for your replys!

Memory cards are so cheap these days (unless you buy them at WDW) :scared1: and why risk losing a laptop. I head down with 3-4 2GB cards and about 6 1GB cards.

I, and I think many others, bring a laptop and empty the memory cards at night. If at all possible, burn a DVD or CD! Hard drives are the least reliable way to store data, so you want to have some redundancy "just in case".

That being said, memory cards are pretty cheap, it's worth having more than you think you'll need. Better too much than not enough!

I load the pix every night on the laptop, burn a CD & load the ones I want to Winkflash. Towards the end of the trip, I order the 4x6's from Winkflash. They usually arrive on my doorstep at home a day or two after I get home! (Sometimes before I've unpacked)

It's a great way to "extend" the vacation feeling for a while longer!
