Stop Making Me Laugh Or I'll Pee My Pants! Go Back! I Lost My Shoe! Trip Report!

I love snapfish for prints!

I've used shutterfly for my books lately though, I like their layouts better.

Great pic!!!great job you really do look scared!! and I can just hear people saying look that guy is sleeping...how can he sleep on such a bummppyyy ride!!! :lmao:

I love the Dinosaur pic. John is too funny. How fun to be in the front.

I thought you would like the picture I found. I have found several more. I'll send them along.

Have a great evening.

I thought we did a good acting job too!

Your family can have more fun doing the weirdest stuff. That was another word I subbed. I have a pic I'm getting ready to post. I hope you like it.

We always have fun doing the oddest things!

Great update, Lisa. I laughed and laughed at you guys on Dinosaur. That is the funniest thing that John acted like he was asleep!!! :rotfl2: Such a riot!

Awww, how sweet that those boys in line thought Lacey was cute. I'm guessing she was older than them. She's such a good girl to keep up the conversation so they wouldn't be embarrassed.

Good for you for getting Hunter on EE. You know, I thought the younger children were the only ones who couldn't make up their minds whether they liked a ride or not. Mitchell loved Splash Mtn and did it twice in March with no issues at all, and then we rode practically the same ride (no animatronics) at Dollywood and he hated it. But it was the same thing!!!! Who knows? Children are finicky I guess. :confused3

As always, looking forward to more! :cheer2:

John can fall asleep anywhere! So, we decided why how make him act like he's asleep on Dinosaur.

The boys talking to Lacey were probably around 17 or so. I thought it was really nice of her to talk to them so they wouldn't be so embarassed.

Hunter is really weird about riding things. One year, he'll ride something and absolutely love it but then the next year, he doesn't.:confused3

:rotfl: You crack me up. Yeah, some things you just have to suck up and go ahead and do. She can't depend on someone to drive her around all her life. A movie comes to mind: Driving Miss Daisy.

But you know, I could really suck it up and hop on the interstate, too. Now THAT makes me nervous! Just the merging. I got ran off the road once and have not been inclined to try it again. Silly, huh? :goodvibes

My niece is one of those over dramatic sort of people and she's a very dependent person too. If I were my sister (her mama), I'd tell her to get off her butt and start driving!

Lisa~ I love the dinosaur picture! too :rotfl2: funny!!!!

Mel~ WDW SpM has things to see "great animtronics " I'm told so you don't have that build up! a flume ride like in Dollywood you can see the climb and the drop and that is all you SEE!! I don't blame him...I have been told I HAVE to ride SPM when we go next time!!! I have never ridden it!! I like the TMRR but did not ride last May because I stayed with Ashton in FL! But, he should be tall enough to ride both when we go!

Dayne just said looking at the pix and Snow White advertisment came on TV at the same time...I don't want to wait a year to go back...me either!!:headache: how could we possibly talk Danny into it!!

Well, Connie, since you got the pin code, maybe you can work in a short trip to Disney before your November, 2010 trip.

Great pic!!!great job you really do look scared!! and I can just hear people saying look that guy is sleeping...how can he sleep on such a bummppyyy ride!!! :lmao:

All of the people who saw the picture were laughing like crazy at us. They thought we really were scared and asleep.

I love the Dinosaur pic. John is too funny. How fun to be in the front.

I thought you would like the picture I found. I have found several more. I'll send them along.

Have a great evening.

It was good that we got to sit in the front because our picture turned out really well.

Always good for a laugh.

And we love you for it!

I'm sorry your neice was being, as one of my friends says, "a Capitol B"
I hope you get more good news about your BIL.

I love those tigers! You really got some great pictures of them. This was actually something I missed out on for the first couple times I went to AK, I only saw this and the other walk (where the gorillas are I think, I forget what it is called) the last time I was there.

I know that my niece was worried and tired, etc. but there's no need for her to be downright rude to me. Oh well, I haven't talked to her since that conversation. I've been going around her and talking to other family members.

Oh you must go through the Maharajah Jungle Trek. The tigers are beautiful!

When we were on our cruise last November our dinner server was from Indonesia where the Komodo Dragons live. He told the boys how the have to fight them off every year and how dangerous they are. It was very informative. I love the Tiger pix. I love Tigers, but not kitty cats.

We were watching something on either the Discovery channel or the travel channel the other day and they were talking about how mean Komodo dragons were. I'd be terrified all the time!

I am so happy Ginny and rndmr2 mentioned the tigers and dragons...I completely missed that update!!!
Love all the tapier, the dragons, and the TIGERS!!! great pics
I really like the shot of Hunter under the prayer flags...he is such a sweetheart!!!

Hunter was such a silly goose and it was fun to spend one-on-one time with him.

That is sooooo funny!

I love the picture for Dinsaur. John totally crakcs me up. It does really look like he is sleeping. LOL! So much fun. i hope Claire is crazy like that when she gets older.
I don't know if you know who Goofy22 is, but she was there around the same time as you. Maybe a little earlier. Can't remember for sure, But she was in the bat area, and her neice knocked her arm and her camera flew into the pen. They had a CM use some long handle pikerupper thing and retrieved it. But the batteries flew out too. They did find one, but no the other. LOL!

I can't beleive your neice is being such a B...witch. I might've actually laughed at her. LOL! My grandmother never drove, and it was a pain at times for people to run her around. Especially after my granpa died. But she was also a home body too, so it wasn't too bad. My Aunt never got her license till 18 or so becuase my mom was 10 months older and just drove her around. But then my mom got married at 19, so my Aunt finally bit the bullet and had to drive to get anywhere.

John is pretty fun to have around....I think I'll keep him.:rotfl:

I have a feeling you won't have a problem with Claire being a bit silly. I have seen that little twinkle in her eye in the pictures you post. She's such a cutie!

I would have freaked out if my camera fell into the bat enclosure! Thank goodness she was able to get the camera back.

I haven't spoken with my niece since I, basically, hung up on her. I know that she probably doesn't even know that she was being rude but I know she was being rude. She's always been a bit bossy anyways.

I don't understand why my niece won't drive. You would think that she would want some independence and not have to rely on somebody else to cart her around. :confused3

I finally read all 82 pages- started on Saturday. You see, we planned a last minute trip to CBR for next month. I thought it would be a good idea to read a CBR trip report. I scanned the titles, clicked on this one first, and what do you know...CBR! DD8 looked at the CBR pics and said that's so pretty. I want to go back to Disney World.

Little does she know she will be there in one month!

I also work in a law office, so this is even more interesting to me! I don't really get in on the family law, though we do a lot of that. I am office manager, probate secretary, and do taxes, etc. The more humdrum stuff. We have 3 attorneys and 5 secretaries in two small towns. I don't have to do billing, I just have to worry if there's enough to make payroll!

Thanks for the great report and all the pics of CBR!

Welcome aboard! The CBR is a beautiful resort...much prettier than my pictures show. Is your trip a surprise? We surprised Hunter with a trip to Disney last year and it was so much fun.

I've done probate law too. I always say there's nothing that will tear a family apart like death, taxes and inheritance. Sad! Our town is not huge but it's now small either and there are pages upon pages of attorneys listed in our phone book. There's a lotta folks around here with legal problems or else those attorneys would be going out of business.

I hope that you continue reading along and feel free to chat whenever you'd like.

haha, love the Dinosaur picture! Those are my favorite ride photos to look at after the ride. Some of them are hilarious. :rotfl:

Thanks! We like to try and buy at least one of the ride pictures on each trip. This one was too funny not to buy it!

That was me...and thanks so much for the advice! I had NO idea you had to "spin" it yourself like a tilt-a-whirl! We have a similar ride at a local amusement park and it spins on its own so I just assumed PW was the same! I may give it another chance now!! That is, if my old body can handle all the jerking! LOL! Thanks again for the tip! :thumbsup2

I have this same pic of my boys and never noticed the Hidden Mickey! Thanks for pointing it out!! :woohoo:

Great AK update! I love the animal trails...so glad you and Hunter decided to enjoy them!

Great Dinosaur pic! Love that ride! :cool1:

I love tilt-a-whirls! We like to do a little leaning on Primeval Whirl too. Never knew if it truly helped or not but we like to think so.

Go back and look at your pictures and see the hidden Mickey. It's an annual picture for us.

Hunter and I love all of the trails at the Animal Kingdom. John's just okay with them.

I forgot to add that I'm glad your BIL is making such great improvements! He will continue to be in my prayers.

Thanks! He is improving a little but still has a long way to go.

That Dinosaur picture is too funny!!!:lmao: We love that ride!!! It's so much fun!!

You got some really good pictures on the trails!! Wow! Those tiger pictures are great!!!:thumbsup2

Great news about your BIL.:goodvibes

Isn't the picture funny! I was so proud of us!

Thanks for the latest update! How funny that Ginny is in the Nemo clam picture! :lmao:

The bats - nasty. I don't like them one bit. They are cool to look at, but something about them hanging upside down like that with their wings wrapped around their bodies - ick. That one close up you got was pretty cool though b/c you could see his face so well. Can anyone say Dracula? :scared1:

The tigers are absolutely beautiful. They are so majestic.

LOVE the picture again of Dinosaur. John really looks like he's sound asleep! I'm so glad you bought it because this photo really shows the wonderful dynamic of your family! :thumbsup2

John absolutely hates bats. Hates 'em. Doesn't even like the little tiny ones that fly around our house in the Summer time. Says they creep him out.

I absolutely love the Dinosaur picture. It's a perfect picture of us.

Great update--as always. LOVE the Dinosaur picture. I missed not being able to go to AK this year...but being a short trip we had to give up something.

I thought the picture was great too. It show exactly how we act.

I really like Animal Kingdom. John, on the other hand, could skip it. We once went to Disney for just two days and it was so hard knowing that there were two other parks that we didn't get to do. But, it gave us a reason to go back!

I have used Snapfish several times and have always had very good results with them.

I have used snapfish a lot. They use Walgreens for your local pick up and they are 18 cents each. Sometimes they have a coupon for half price. Their shipping isn't super cheap but if you get 50 free it still makes for cheap pix.

Good morning by the way. Hope your family is all doing ok.

I use snapfish (that is now my favorite) cause you can creat collages on 4x6 prints for the .08 price! But, I use snapfish and shutterfly all the time! you can pick up snapfish prints from walgreens and shutterfly from target! I do mail order also!

Have fun photoing!! (new word)
:wave2:Connie

Thanks ya'll! I have so many pictures that I am trying to find the cheapest way to get them printed. I looked at Snapfish's website and a couple of others. Trying to pinch my pennies.

LOVED the Dinosaur picture! I would probably point and laugh on my way out too! "Look at that guy sleeping next to those screaming people?!"

I swear by Snapfish! I like their pre-pay option. I get 250 4x6 pics for I think 19.99! Never had a problem with them. Have also done a photo book of my 2006 trip and it came out EXCELLENT!!! Also, my daughter's birth announcement pics/card came from them. You won't be disappointed!

It was so much fun to just stand back and listen to the people laugh at us. That's something we would have done too.

I'm still shopping around for the most cost efficient way to get all my pictures printed.

My niece had a photobook printed on Snapfish and it was fantastic!

I thought the picture was great too. It show exactly how we act.

I really like Animal Kingdom. John, on the other hand, could skip it. We once went to Disney for just two days and it was so hard knowing that there were two other parks that we didn't get to do. But, it gave us a reason to go back!

I love the AK. It is my 3rd favorite park. I would rather skip the Studios. I really missed not getting to AK this trip.

Great dinosaur pic! I didn't buy one, but when I did that ride the first time with my husband and stepdaughter, who was 12 at the time, I think we all had great "scream" faces in the photo, but we weren't acting! I can be a little nervous the first time I do a "scary" ride but this January maybe we'll have to follow your example and come up with some really goofy expressions for the photo. It might be worth a few laughs!

I've still got a photo from somewhere in Epcot in 2004 where you could take your picture and add weird things, then email it to yourself. I put a red clown nose on my husband and huge red lips on me.

Glad your BIL is doing better.

I'm enjoying reading this thread because it helps me get excited about my January visit. Not that I need help to get excited or anything... ;)

The first time we rode Dinosaur (then, it was Countdown to Extinction), we were a bit scared too. I mean, we had dinosaurs jumping out at us at every turn. We tried to do a funny pose picture on Test Track but somehow missed the mark and didn't have our pose ready.

We like to email ourselves pictures from Epcot too. They still have those computers in the Imagination pavilion.

Have you started a pre-trip report? If so, post the link. I am sure we'd all love to read it.

Great updates, Lisa! You guys had a great time in AK. We got our planning video for this year and the kids were talking about going back to the Nemo show (they just love it) and seeing the animals, so we're definitely going to have to schedule some time there.

I haven't used Snapfish - I've used Shutterfly and Walgreens (seperately!). But they came out well. I figure it's worth a try, especially if they're willing to give you free prints (as long as there aren't too many strings attached).

Have a good day tomorrow...hopefully, everyone will keep progressing well!

We had a great time at Animal Kingdom. It's not John's favorite park but he still has fun there.

I wish I could make myself like the Nemo show but I just can't. Thank goodness Disney has something for everyone!

I'm still shopping around on where to get my pictures printed. Since I have so many, I've gotta get the best deal but still have good quality.

Good morning Lisa. Hope you are having a grand day. Busy here and on a Wednesday too. Uncalled for. I will see if I can't find more pix for you later.

Ginny

Hey Ginny!

It's been really busy around here the last few days. I told my boss that I was going to run away if he made one more change to a document. Wrote all over a pleading just because he wanted two commas put in. Farthead!

I love snapfish for prints!

I've used shutterfly for my books lately though, I like their layouts better.

I haven't looked at the shutterfly site yet. Need to go check it out.

I love the AK. It is my 3rd favorite park. I would rather skip the Studios. I really missed not getting to AK this trip.

I usually try to work Animal Kingdom into the middle of our park touring because we take it at a more leisurely pace. This go round, I had to do it at the beginning in order to work in the luau.

Shutterfly is running 25 free 4x6 OR free shipping with signup right now, along with a free shipping on orders over $40 and 20% off of the photobooks. (Can you tell I recently signed up for my recent trip stuff :p)

Hope everything else goes well and you ladies don't work too hard! (I know I don't :p)

I should be starting on my own TR soon(tm). I did recently resize the 373 pictures that I uploaded to shutterfly to make them reasonable on a forum (I don't think anyone would appreciate several 5MB images that are over 3,600 pixels wide!) so that's a start. I'll also be adding a PTR to that one, since I've decided to take a little solo trip on the 4/3 deal (maybe, still haven't decided).

And, just as a preview, so I can add something to make someone smile (assuming I can post images at 12 posts ><)...

I was going to try and post an installment but I am not sure it's going to happen. My boss has a client with him who is a total snothead. I keep having to go back and forth making copies, finding stuff, etc. The boss is supposed to be out tomorrow morning so maybe I can get some real (substitute Dis) work done. With all the crap that's being going on around the office lately, I am just now getting first of the month billing out. I have a stack of pleadings on the corner of my desk that have to be filed tomorrow morning. Wouldn't be too much of a problem getting it all done if he didn't keep knitpicking them to death.

I have been meaning to give a family update. My mother's eye started drooping a little and she had dizziness again. At mine and John's insistence, she made an appointment for yesterday. The doctor said the eye and dizziness had nothing to do with the artery bypass surgery. Said she needed to go to her general practitioner and get something for Vertigo. And, probably have to have plastic surgery on her droopy eyelids. She's been pondering having that done for quite some time now because the droopy eyelids run in the family. Other than that, she has great blood flow in the replaced artery.

Since I last updated on my brother-in-law, there's been a lot of ups and downs. He started doing better then declined rapidly. He started talking out of his head, seeing things and being extremely mean to my sister and niece. The doctor said he thinks it may be partially because of his withdrawal from the meds that he was taking before the stroke. They started those meds again and hope that will help.

I haven't spoken with my niece since she was rude to me. I have texted her once to ask her to have my sister call our mother. I have spoken to my other niece but she's relying on her sister to give her information because everybody in their family has the flu and can't go to the hospital. Nobody ever calls us and tells us what is going on....we have to call them.

At lunch today, I told Mama that I won't be calling anymore to get updates. They know that I am here and they know how to get in touch with me. I am through running them down to find out what is going on. My other sister and I are upset that they won't keep our mother updated on what is going on. Mama doesn't need to go to the hospital because there are sick people there and she doesn't need to be around anybody who is sick after having surgery just two weeks ago. Ya'll know what a worry wart my mother is and her just sitting around the house not knowing anything doesn't help. All they have to do is just pick up the phone, give Mama an update and hang up. Pisses me off to no end!

Dumb bunnies.....too bad you can't divorce family!

Now that I have my little ranting and raving done, let me get back to my work.

Awwww! That sweet smiling face is just what I needed right now. Isn't she adorable!

Lisa, you are a better person than me. I would have RANTED AND RAVED a long time ago if I had been treated like that by my niece. I don't blame you--let them call you. And I have often wondered WHY CAN'T WE DIVORCE FAMILY?

Hey Lisa, I have had a busy day too. I so remember making stupid corrections on papers that really don't change the meaning of it at all. I'm glad this Dr. isn't as picky as the other one. But he does have me on a mission of digging thru insurance co's and the percentages and crap. It doesn't allow me much dis time. I think I'm going to tell him I just can't do that much work in one day. I'll make him a deal. I'll do all the work I can in 2 hours then have a 3 hour break. Work an hour then 2 hour break. That should be pretty even. I will even skip lunch if necessary. I think he should accept that offer for sure.

Your mom may still improve somewhat in her droopy eye. I know it isn't related to the artery but the anesthesia can slow it down somewhat. I wish I could see a plastic surgeon about a lot of issues. Maybe they could give me a package deal.

I did post Alex's birthday yesterday. He turned 11. Sometime when you get a chance. All my babies are growing up and I'm not liking it one bit.

Isn't that little princess on Allan's last post cuter than a bug?

Ginny
I hate that about your sister's niece. Welcome to my family. I think I have said that before that it is a package deal you get with family. Sometimes you just don't want to open it.

The corrections the boss is making to the pleadings are those kind of corrections that could be either or. You know like a comma after and. You know it can be done with or without a comma. If we werent' so busy, I'd just redo it and move on. But why in the world he wants to make the changes when we have other things to do just baffles me.

I do know exactly what you mean but like you say when you are covered up busy he should be worrying about things other than commas. :confused3 We are now officially 1 hour and 25 minutes behind schedule. I just thought I might be done by 5:30. We still have 5 patients to see. GRR. It's a good thing I have no plans tonite.
