Stitched Mickey Ears website?

piratesmate - thanks for the website. I did understand it but I wanted to up the ears in a pictures folder, then in a word doc. and make them smaller to print later on transfer paper and iron on a t-shirt. Oh well I guess I'll just make door signs with them. Maybe after I print them out I can shrink them on the copier at work. Thanks for all your help :flower:

Hi

All I did to save them to my computer was zoom in on the image at Disneymatic by right clicking it then clicked the Print Screen button then open up paint program and clicked paste. Voila there were my ears!

I was trying to make them purple and sparkly but as you can see I only got the purple on the background. Still trying to figure that one out.

DizneyDogs - Try using the white, coloring book image instead. Depending on what program you're using, you should be able to "fill" the inside of the hat with the purple sparkly stuff then. I think that would look really cool! :teeth:

CajunPrincess - I know what you mean. That's what I wanted to do as well, but it's not as straightforward as I'd like. To do that you'll need to print it out, scan it, re-size and then take it to Word to put on transfer paper.....or as you said photocopy & reduce.

That whole "print to file" thing only saves the file in a format that the printer will understand. The original idea was to allow you a way of transporting the file to another computer that doesn't have the original program on it, but still be able to print it out. However, now I think the idea is to prevent you from altering the file....but then again maybe I'm just paranoid. ;)

Once you do the print screen and you open it up in paint and save it can't you just then open it up in Word by inserting a picture. At least that's what I did anyway and it worked great.

I tried doing the coloring book image for my sparkly sig but the my picture editing program isn't allowing me to make it transparent :-(

Yes, that works if you want it small. But if you want it larger than you get with "print screen" you lose definition by doing it that way.

What program are you using? I've never done sparkly stuff but have seen a lot of people doing it in their signature lines. Let me see if I can do it in PhotoShop. If so, I'll try it & send it to you.

mtblujeans - PM me with your email address & I'll send you file after dinner.

I used a program online to make it sparkly, I am not sure where it was, I found it by doing a search here on the Dis boards "sparkly signatures" and someone posted directions
