Any opinions - Good or Bad. I like doing at least one character breakfast each visit and I've been debating about this for a little bit now.

I love Chef Mickey, 1900 Park Fare, and Crystal Palace - should I stick with one of those?

I love Stitch almost as much as I love Mickey (that's why I'm considering the CB) but I'm also a very picky eater.

TIA,

Jodi

Hi Jody...

I have never done this character breakfast but hopefully someone will soon give you a review of their experiences there. :)

We went last November and enjoyed it. They served the food family style and it was hot and good. We asked for extra crispy bacon and it was brought out. The breads they had were good as were the Mickey waffles eggs and fruit. The kids did the cocnut race and the parade around the restaurant. Stitch came over and put his hand on DD's shoulder. She got scared but Stitch was very nice about it and left quickly. We're going to have her 4th Birthday breakfast there and I think she'll be over her character shyness. We're looking forwar to the breakfsat, at least I know I am!!

We did this breakfast last christmas week. We loved It! It is a sit-down meal served family style. If was me DH nas DS(15). They serve you juice coffee etc. basket of breads and fruit;then platter of scramble eggs, mickey waffles, breakfast potaoes all you can eat. Characters were Lilo, Stitch, Goofy and Mickey in Luau attire. They come to the tables and they also brings the youger kids out to march in the parade to Hawaiian Roller Coster Ride from the movie and give the kids musical shakers. All very fun. Food was very good and nice to be served, not buffet. They also will accomodate if you want something extra-table next door asked for toast and it was no problem. They also take your picture before and you can purchase it if you want. We loved the whole experienc(we did it the day we checked into Poly GVC).

We liked it very much! The characters seemed to take forever to come around but the food was good. I enjoy family style - Mom gets to stay off her feet, for once!

the poly has GOOD coffee :)
we did this breakfast before it featured stitch and we were quite pleased :)

other than stitch who else is there ? :goodvibes

Stitch, lilo, mickey (was there someone else seems like it but i dont remember..i'll check photos later and let you know) and pluto was stationed in the loby area off and on. Food was okay/good. I liked 1900 breakfast much better but liked this meal better than chef mickeys breakfast. My 5 year old son was happy not to be being kissed by princesses. Our server noticed my son wasnt eating much and asked if there was something specific (from the choices already there) that she should bring more of for him when she was getting ready to bring another plate of food. Only bad thing was that stitch was almost to us and they started the parade and missed us when he returned. (btw we had seen all the other characters at our table 2x before we even glimpsed stitch) When it became clear we wer missed, we spoke to our server and were told he would get to us when he did and we had to wait our turn, everyone gets to have their chance (you figure at this point there must be a lot of complaints here because it was such a terse statement by a previously friendly server and was very reheresed - but makes you wonder how chronically people get 'missed'). So I try to explain that we were missed and that we have finnished our meal. And she said she was sorry that happened but we were just going to have to wait. another Quick visit from a couple of characters, then Iwent over to the handler and told him we had been missed and asked if it would be okay for a very quick autograph/photo since we had finnished already. he made a big point to bring stitch over and apologized to the kids for stitch missing them 'and running off like that I just dont know what gets into him sometimes' it was pretty funny actually. so all in all it was pretty good, we got plenty of interaction...just pretty slow it took over an hour.

This was an excellent breakfast for us! By the time Stitch got to our table they started the parade around the restaurant, so we didn't get time for pics and autographs with Stitch. He took DD3 by the hand (with DS7 following behind) and walked her through the ENTIRE parade. Then he came to our table first after the parade and made a big deal over the kids. It was wonderful!!

Of course, Stitch was her favorite for the rest of the trip!!!

Oh yeah, and the food is great, too!!

Thanks Everyone for the reviews :goodvibes I have to make a reservation now :goodvibes

Beth_Cam - if you are able to, would you mind posting the pictures from when you went to Stitch's Character Breakfast?

oh my gosh jodistar, thank you for asking this question or I might never have known there was a Lilo and Stich Breakfast-this would have been sad since our family loves  Lilo & Stich!

I thought the Ohana breakfast was a Minnie one (with her dressed in Hawaian style clothing-My Birbaum 2006 or Passporter give no indication that Lilo and Stich are there-I just made my reservations...

Is it really true that they have the supposedly good Polynesian coffee??? :goodvibes If they do , between L & S and the coffee, I think I'll be in heaven... :cloud9:

I just made an ADR for here this morning. I read the menu on allears, has it changed? I didn't see the waffles listed (but biscuits and gravy were). Can we still get fruit if we don't have kids?

I would love to see pics of this too.

This is one of our favorite character meals! We had a wonderful server from Hawaii and she was just so much fun and reminded us so much of Hawaii and the people there, she was an older lady but so full of spunk! The characters were great, stitch even tried to eat some of my son's food. The parade around the dining area was funand my son was sad when it was over.
I highly recommend it, we had one of the first ADR's of the day and got there before the restaurant opened and got to participate in opening the restaurant.

What happens during the opening? We have an ADR for 7:30am.

You can load them onto a site like photobucket. Then copy the IMG link from there and paste it here. The picture will appear. Make sense? Maybe someone else could give a more detailed explanation?

I tried to pick a couple that showed the food. I didnt do a good job with my pictures that trip.

We've always had a fun time at the Ohana breakfast... even when it wasn't the Stitch breakfast. Stitch was an added bonus this time.... The restaurant is small enough that the characters spend a good deal of time circulating. Then you can dance around the restaurant with the characters in a line type dance.... It was soooo much fun... You should try it out.

It looks like I'm going to be the lone dissenter, but we absolutely hated this breakfast when we went this past January. Funny thing is though, I had taken my mom there two weeks before and had a great time. However, in January I took my 9 y/o GD. We made sure we were the first ones to arrive and had to wait until they opened. I requested a table next to the window, but when we were seated the hostess escorted us to a table on the side. When I asked if we could have one of those two tables for two by the window facing the lake that were both empty she just said 'No', seated us, and walked away after telling us that Lilo was sick that day so all we'd have was Mickey, Pluto, and Stitch. OK, no biggie! When the waitress came we told her we didn't want the bread, but the guy brought it out anyway. When our skillet came the food was cold. Huh? We were the very first people seated, how could it be cold? :confused3 We had to wave the waitress down. She apologized and said she'd bring more right back out. We didn't see her again until we had another waiter go get her at the very end of the meal. As far as the characters Mickey and Pluto were great. Just before Stitch arrived at our table the parade started, so he grabbed the hand of the kid at that table and started the parade. When the parade was over he apparently forgot where he had been, because he missed us as well as two other tables. We finally waved a waiiter down (not ours, who still hadn't brought us our food). He went to get Stitch who came over for a really quick picture before running off again. My poor GD said maybe if she had brought an autograph book, maybe Stitch would have stayed long enough to at least say hi. He didn't even stay long enough for her to stand up for her picture. As she started to stand up, he sortof leaned over her so she couldn't stand and just put his hand up toward the camera, before running off. By this point our saucer of fruit was gone and our glasses of orange juice were empty as that was all we had, had to eat (besides the bread we had said we didn't want). I finally waved a waiter down who was surprised that we still hadn't gotten our skillet. He immediately went to look for our waitress who apologized profusely saying she must have forgotten to turn the order in. WHAT? I had had it, but my GD was frantically motioning for me not to cause a scene. She then offered to go get us a skillet. No thanks, we had been there about 1 hour and 15 minutes already. I just wanted to get out of there. I couldn't believe it when she brought me the ticket for the full amount. I still can't bellieve I paid that much to see three characters and to drink one glass of OJ and eat 2-3 bites fruit. But that was all we got! No way would I return there for breakfast.

Saying that we really enjoyed Ohannas for dinner when we ate there last Sept.
