Stitch Character Breakfast - Reviews Needed

Thank you for all the reviews, I booked this breakfast yesterday for my birthday in January ~ and I can't wait

We did this breakfast last week...it was the day after we checked in to the poly. We were very glad we booked it because Stitch is soooo big down there right now a.k.a "Stitch Kingdom". After seeing him on the video on the ME bus and seeing him all over the poly stores...then hearing his voice on the monorail, my son was so excited for breakfast.

The food was good (they did have mickey waffles -fruit, eggs, breads, sausage, bacon) and was nice to not have to go get your food at a buffet. I would think this would make it easier for the characters not to miss anyone.

When we got there we were told stitch didn't come to the tables..."he is in the parade" and you could go see him in the back of the resturant to get pics & autographs. He did not come to the table but Mickey, Lilo & Pluto did-they seemed rushed. When we went to see stitch we had to wait in line. He was very animated and spent a lot of time with the kids (he ate my sons pen and "sneezed" all over his autograph book)...very cute.

It was ok but, I think I'd choose a different breakfast next time.

What happens during the opening? We have an ADR for 7:30am.

Have you ever been to a luau? or seen one?
It was a shortened version similar to the "beginning of the feast" where they thanked the north, south, east, west and then welcomed everyone to Ohana's and to be a part of the ohana (family). It was lacking the conch shell, but there was a lot of clapping and the did shout. It was short and sweet.

However, maybe I should mention that this was at the end of January and it seems that Disney sometimes has a way of doing special things when they deem fit, and leaving them off if it's crowded, etc. Like I've seen in a few posts that Stitch didn't circulate, but he did when we were there, as did all the characters. So, with luck and it being early in the morning and maybe not crowded yet they'll do their opening for you.
That's the joy of Disney "magic".

Did the breakfast with DD 5yo this past June. Mickey, Pluto, Lilo & Stitch all came to the table for pictures and autographs. The parade was great. The food was wonderful, the hot food was hot and the cold food was cold. Our waitress was great. DD was in an "I'm only eating fruit" mood that morning and the waitress kept her stocked with fruit.

The characters were not rushed, they waited for pictures we had someone else take our pictures together and then we took separate shots as well. The picture that is taken before you're seated was cute, they add in Lilo & Stitch.

I'd like to do it again this Spring but DGM & DGP are joining us , so I don't how many Character meals we will do .

We were there June 12 and Mickey was the one that didn't come to the table. We had a later ADR, so we were still there towards the end. We had wonderful character interaction. Lilo and Stitch stopped by our table a couple of times after autographs and pics! Stitch was very playful with our DD. The food was wonderful, this was our 3rd year in a row at this breakfast and the food has always been good

We are planning on booking a breakfast and can't wait. We are big Stitch fans. As if that is a surprise.

We did the Stitch breakfast in April and it was wonderful. Stitch waws naughty and took DS's food and he just cracked up!. Stitch and Lilo came to the tables and did the parade as well. Mickey, Pluto and Minnie also came to the tables it was wonderful. The best thing was it was all you care to eat and they brought it to you so it was very relaxing. My DH low carbs so he could fill up on as many eggs and meat as he wanted, the pineaplle bread is wonderful and so was the coffee. We certainly will be going back.

Just as a little extra-the Disney Store was having an amazing sale, so we bought both a stuffed Lilo and stuffed Stitch about 60% off (the new ones are all pirate themed...I wonder why...lol...) and two red Hawaiian themed shirts-red pattern with Mickey ears in an alternate fabric on the backs with Goofy surfing-hard to describe-really cute...one for DS 4 and one for DD 12 (about 75% off)...Dh and I thought we would give them to them the night before our breakfast...

Can't wait and thanks again for all the reviews

I know exactly what you are talking about with the Lilo & Stitch stuff.....I went to the Disney store and bought the new Pirate of the Caribbean Stitch Plush (not on sale -- but very cute).

That is such a great idea about giving your DS and DD the plush animals before the breakfast.

Not one of our favorites at all. I think the characters were rushed and were moving from table to table very quickly. Even DD remarked that Stitch was in a bad mood today!
