Stitch attraction in Tomorrowland -- update

Just wanted to pass along what I was told tonight.
I asked a CM at Star Traders if they knew when the Stitch pins for the new attraction would be available to buy.
No definate date on that.
I asked when the Stitch attraction was tentatively scheduled to open.
Reply: Not until late October, or first of November. I was told the date was moved back, as they did not get as far along as they thought. They WERE ahead of schedule, but are no longer.
When we rode the TTA over that area, the outside was very tore up. It looks to be more tore up than intact.

I love Stitch! One of my favorite modern Disney characters. We'll be there Nov. 18 - 26.and I so hope that Stitch will be 'in the house! Yeah!

That is horrible news for us. My ds 8 is a huge Stitch fan and we have been looking forward to this ride for almost a year. I am just sick.

I was there last week too and rode TTA. The paths on the other side of the wall are all torn up! I dont know what is being done there but it did not look like it was going to be done soon.

Looked like everything needed to be redone or replaced on the outside.

When we were there in late July I didn't think things were moving too quickly. We will be there late October, so maybe will catch an AP preview. Nothing we can do about it, just wait and see.

The Disney Magazine I got last week says November for scheduled opening. Too bad, we're there 1st week of October and I was really hoping to be able to catch this one!

Looks like it will be closed for our September trip..but looks good for our Nov/Dec trip......

My DD12 was really looking forward to it to. We'll be there Oct 15-23. I guess we'll just hold out hope that that CM was wrong!!!!?!!

I wonder if they've pushed back the official opening from Oct. 1st to early November? If so there may still be hope for us October people to see it in soft opening. We will be there Oct.2-8. I sure hope we get to see it, or else my ds will be so upset. As I posted earlier, we have been counting down to this for almost a year.
Any CM's out there with some good news for me?

I sure hope the construction of Stitch doesn't get delayed anymore. I want to ride it when we go. I, too, am hoping that the COP is running while we are there.

We just got back yesterday, and last rode TTA on 8/23. I agree that the outside really looked torn up still. I was surprised. I expected it to look more complete. I guess that tracks with the later opening estimate.

On the bright side, though, we got to see CoP again. Timekeeper was even open last week as well, which was great since I'd never seen it before.
