Sun~ I can't wait to see pics. My friend and her husband stayed there in June....the bathtub was HUGE!! The rooms looked so nice!!

Ever feel like Disney has sucked into a vacation life of only going there???

I was supposed to go to Vegas this winter with a pal, but she decided to take her dry-wall breaking husband instead.

I love going to VEGAS!! I go every year. Its my time away from the kids.
I take them on vacation and then I get to go somewhere fun!!
Not that I don't love every minute of our Disney vacations but..I just really like Vegas. Its fun.
I am trying to decide where to stay for our Christmas 2009 adventure to Disneyland. I want to go to WDW but I am hoping that I am in the nursing program next year so I need some place closer and well DL is a lil bit cheaper that WDW..BUT I would prefer WDW.

I made Danny run up and hang it on her door (with a crappy plastic hanger ) and when I handed it to him, he goes "Why didnt you give her a huggable hanger?"

I go "Im not giving her one of my good hangers! Besides - she is perfectly happy with these ridiculous hangers!"

And he went:

I can't believe you didn't fix my Santa & reindeer. Did you see some of our lights are out? DH is PO'd. It happened Sunday night when we had all that rain and wind.

OT - So, I had my work X-mas party today after work. We did a white elephant, but with store bought gifts under $15. I ended up with a drinking block game w/ shot glasses. It looks like Jenga. And it came with some coasters that have drinking words and their definitions on them. Now, what on earth am I going to do with that.

Almost forgot, I got THE gift from Cat. I won't spill the beans, but they are super cute. DD wants them. I told her she can borrow them when she is older.

Yes!! DO NOT BET ON THEM!! 3-12...NOT SO GOOD THIS YEAR!! UGH the weather super sucks!!!!!

We are supposed to fly out at 7:30AM tomorrow morning (Friday).

Guess what! We are going to get 7-11 inches tonight into Friday morning.

UGH!

I didn't buy trip insurance like a moron so now I have no idea what is going to happen.

To top it off, Vegas had 4 inches of snow yesterday and their airport is shutdown.

BUMMER! I wish I could just cancel the whole trip and get my $ back, I'd even settle for a cancellation fee. I just don't want to lose the whole thing or go a day later.

Vegas's Airport is expected to be back open this afternoon. So, thats very good news.

I agree with Cat! Same thing happened the last time I went to NYC. I made it there and the snow and ice were WAYYY worse. They were still de-icing our plane as we were getting on it. Not a great feeling but we made it there in one piece and were only delayed 30 minutes!

I'm thinking positive, but now Southwest has a warning on their website about the storm. I can change my travel plans with no penalty withing 14 days. It is very tempting b/c the weather in Vegas stinks right now. However, I'd have to figure out if I have someone to watch DD. Wouldn't it be great if they would let me go there for New Years. I doubt it though. I'm sure that would be a huge price difference. I think I'm going to call and check anyways.
