Cat, we had those plastic runners with the pokey things in our hallway when I was growing up. My MEAN brother would turn it over then call me to come into his room. (Just one of the many reasons we don't talk anymore). Those little suckers hurt, especially when you're 5.

Nope, I'm here at work. Just busy........ I can't call in sick considering I'm pretty much off for the rest of the year. Our work shuts down from 12/25 thru 1/1. So, I'm off 12/19 - 12/23 for my last 3 vacation days & Vegas. I'm working from home on X-mas Eve, then working from home on 1/2. So, I'm pretty much off for the next 2 weeks.

I've been reading - Creepy X-mas cards, Elvis, pokey plastic, Charley pics, Angel's new tag...............

Well, since you know where I live, I guess I can tell you where I work. Although, the outlook for us next year is really bad. They are not hiring at all and there is going to be a lot of layoffs.

So he's a spy? A secret agent like Ward? Will it be like a James Bond movie where he goes in in his tux and you are supposed to be his date in an evening gown? Do you get to wear the ear piece and listen to the equipment guys out in the van that are tracking your every move? Does he have fun gadgets? It all sounds so exciting!

OMG! I got a story.

I stayed there about 7 yrs ago with some girlfriends. There was 5 of us in a room and I was preggos.

So, I am a loser and go back to the room around midnight by myself b/c they were all tipsy and the smoke in the casinos were killing me, yada, yada.........

Anyway, I hear a lot of partying going on in the room next door. Our rooms are connected with the doors in between. So, I hear the neighbors going at it, right. After awhile, I hear more than 2 voices so there are at least 2 girls and 1 guy in there. By this time, my friends come back to the room (all but 1 of them) and I tell them what I think is going on next door.

So, they open up our side of the connecting door and put a glass up to it to hear what is going on.

Pretty much, there was a cowboy and 2 "lookers", replace the l with an h.

He was talking about cocaine and lots of other stuff I can't say on here.

The girl was like "Again! You're wearing me out." Then he sent them to his friends in another room.

I wish I could say what else was said, but I can't. It was hysterical. So, we hear them leaving and want to peek outside to see. We couldn't though. Our missing friend comes stumbling in and she is like, some dudes were just calling me a "looker" on the tram. I was so embarrassed. She had on a hootchie mama outfit and boots and it was like 4 in the morning so I can kind of see why they would. Anyways, she saw the "lookers" from the other room.

You had to be there, but it was quite an eye-opening experience!

I sure hope we have quiet neighbors this time.

I don't remember much about the hotel, but I do remember that they have awesome bathrooms. Like huge whirlpool tubs, granite everything, huge stand up showers (glass), and a flat panel TV in the bathroom, separate toilet. That's all I remember about the rooms, the bathroom.

I've got another funny in Vegas.

So, we go to downtown Vegas and are gambling at one of the casino's down there. I think it was Horseshoe, but really have no idea. We are at the blackjack tables and the dealers have clickers where they can click them for the cocktail waitress. My friends and I think this is the best invention ever b/c the cocktail waitresses at the strip casinos stink. They come around once in a while. The clickers are the best ever. So, we are having a ball with the clickers and our dealer. She was this little Asian girl with the nametag LOAN. SO, we are calling her LOAN, pronounced Loan, rhymes with moan. All night Loan was our buddy. So, like 2 hours later, Loan is on her 3rd round with us and her replacement comes over and says Ok, Loan you are done. She says Low Ann, not Loan. We were all in shock. How could Loan not tell us her name is pronounced Low Ann.

I guess you had to be there, but I think I'm going to have to find the casino with the clickers for sure! Who knows, maybe Loan will still be there.
