Hey Sassies! I haven't DISed in months and since I'm hoping to go back to Disney next summer I decided to log back on. I found our old thread and wondered if any of our sassy bunch was still around.

Yeah two of my favorite disers found our old tread.

School starts Monday for Kendall and Colin then I'll have one week left with Kelsie before she leaves for College.

So, how have yall been?

Holy cow Tricia, I can't believe they are going back to school already. We still have a month of summer vacation left. Is Kelsie going quite a ways from home for college? How exciting, but scary at the same time! We have all been good, busy all the time though! How are thing with you?

I know it's hard to believe that summer is over for us but my kids did get out of school in May.

Kelsie will be going to college about 2 1/2 hours away so it's not too far but far enough. She is so excited and I'm trying to be. I know this is a great growing experience for her but she's my baby.

My little Gracie passed away in June and I think once all my kids are back in school and I'm here by myself without her it's going to hit me hard.

Just got back from Old Navy buying jeans for the kids. Boys jeans on sale for $10.00. To good to pass up. It's hard to even think about putting jeans on for at least a couple of months but a sale is a sale.

Becca how are the boys?

Becca, Becca, Becca, we have a month left til school too. What should we do? tehehe How is Mr. Becca and the boy's?

Cole is a sophomore, level 1 driver's license and wants a convertable.

Judi so funny that you posted about Christmas. Yesterday I officially started my Christmas shopping and bought six gifts from Kohl's (online). We are finally getting a Kohl's but the opening date isn't until October. I watch the progress and it makes my mouth water. I can't wait to walk into that store.

Tricia, the boys are good. It seems like they are always so busy with something. Summer swim season just ended and we finally took a vacation. I'm so sorry about Gracie. I know how much she meant to you.

Judi, I don't have the same cell phone and I lost your number or I would have called you last weekend when we were passing through your town. I put what I thought was your address in the GPS, but then I realized that would be really rude to just stop by. How's mom?

Judi, Becca and Heather, we almost have our old thread back. Well, school started yesterday. I still have Kelsie home for one week so I didn't have a quiet house yet. I'm really not looking forward to that.

Hi everyone......How are ya'll today? How has everyone been?

Tricia...I'm sorry about Gracie. I know how hard that can be.

My kids dont start school til August 23rd. Wish us luck that Joey does better in Kinder than last year He should though....He did really well in the PreK program I put him in. (did horrible things to my budget but was worth every penny and sacrifice)

If we can round up a few other stray Sassies we really will have our old thread back. I am currently planning a Disney trip so I should be back on the Dis frequently again...like everyday Its only taken us 2 years to get back on track financially

Judi, I have your address it was just at home! Bonnie moved to Indiana recently, apparently in a house full of taxidermied animals. I'm going to post a message to her and Mrs. FofP to come back. Shannon too of course!

Heather, I'm sure Joey will do better this year. Boys sometimes have to mature a little longer. I'm still waiting for Brian to grow up!

Hey, we've been resurrected! And just in time for me to go to Disney! We leave tomorrow for a few days in Hilton Head and then on to Disney. Naturally, BamBam has decided to come down with some sort of snot producing ailment so we are off for a last minute trip to the MD.

Has anyone else noticed that when you go on vacation, all of a sudden you realize that you need new socks and underwear? How could I have missed this? I think that poor Barney is down to 5 pair!

Tricia, I am sorry about Gracie; I know she was very special to you. Whenever you are in the market for a new pooch, Wally the Collie would love to visit. He will herd all of your stray socks, not to mention your children. You will always know where they are, as keeping things in small, tight group seems to be of the utmost importance to him.

Oh it makes me feel good to see our old thread up and going again. I'm taking a break from helping Kelsie pack up her things for college. I was getting all sad then logged in here and saw we had some chatter and it made me smile.

Wilma have fun at Disney. We went to Gatlinburg, TN in July just to do something different and take a break from Disney. We really had a good time but when we went to Dollywood I had to keep telling the the kids not to compare it to Disney. It really was a nice park, very clean, lots of flowers everywhere and not nearly the crowds of Disney but of course it just wasn't the same.

Heather I'm sure Joey will do fine in school this year. He's another year older and more mature. Is he excited to go?

It looks like my break time is over. I just heard a loud MOMMMMMMM come from her room so off I go.

Bex-I can't believe you guys have another month of summer vacation. The kids here all started this week! That just seems way too early to me. How is your garden this year?

Shannon & Bonnie-come back! We miss you.

We are going to WDW for Food & Wine the first week of November, but I'm more excited for next year-we just booked a Caribbean cruise for November 2011.

Joey says he doesnt want to go to school. I'm sure he will do fine once he gets in there. I am going tomorrow to get him officially registered. I should have done it in the spring I know but for some reason I couldnt make myself do it. I sincerely hope they dont try to give him the same teacher. I think I will write a note saying I would like to be sure he is given a fresh start. He isnt the same kid he was last year. his preK teacher had very few issues with him......he misbehaved some but all kids do.....right? lol


Tricia-- I hope you find something to pamper yourself with when you have some time alone. I am having a makeup party this week for skin care products......want to come? We can put on mud masks and drink margaritas


Wilma_ I think my Jazzy girl and your Wally the Collie would make a great pair. Jaz has a shoe fetish...so together with his sock roundups we would always have shoes and socks handy


Judi--how are you? I cant believe Cole is driving I am not looking forward to my kids driving....it is so crowded here. Kate is 12 now and we have hit moodyville

Hey Becca----did you go to WDW this year? How is your family doing? I think we need to post a few pictures. All our kids are getting so big....time really flies sometimes
