Good morning, Sassies! I just finished Twilight - I really liked it! I have the next two on hold at the library - they only have 9 copies of the third book for the whole county! It might take a while but maybe I can troll through the neighborhood looking for teenaged girls who might have read it. I could offer free Wally companionship in exchange for the book loan - think anyone will take me up on it?

Hey, how's it going? Rainy here -- has anyone else noticed it almost always rains on Good Friday???

We are going to go to the movies today to see Knowing...hope the popcorn has a taste this time. We went Saturday to see Fast & Furious 4 and the styrofoam would have had more taste than the popcorn....

Happy Friday!! Still enjoying the MIL visit. She has decided to leave Tuesday, but she'll be back as soon as she can get her move scheduled. She'll stay with us again until her furniture gets here and they get the house all ready. I used to really like my MIL, but she's being very selfish and annoying on this visit.

We're supposed to actually have rain today and tomorrow!! I may go out and play in the rain.

I'm going to make a raspberry cheesecake tomorrow for Easter. I love cheesecake!

Wilma, I bet there are lots of teens in the neighborhood that will lend you the next books. Once I started them I couldn't put them down.

Julie, it is so disappointing when popcorn at the movies isn't good. That is the best perk of going to the germ infested movie theater!

Angie, glad your mil will be leaving soon and hopefully her furniture will arrive soon. Is your dh doing all the work on her new place or does she have others working on it too?

Meli, I read on your facebook about your dh job. That sucks rocks.

Two of my three are dyeing eggs right now. I know I've mentioned it before but here goes again. We dye raw eggs. No one likes the hard boiled variety in this house so now when you want scrambled eggs you get to pick a pretty color.

Happy Easter Saturday. We'll be heading to the inlaws for a crawfish boil.

Mark has such a large family (eight brothers and sisters) that today and Christmas Eve are the only two days that everyone gets together. Don't get me wrong there are plenty of times when most of us are together but never all.

I hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend with your family and friends. I didn't get on the computer at all yesterday so I missed out on the Easter greetings.

We went to my mom's yesterday. My dad always BBQ's on Easter and it was delish. I found out some wonderful news yesterday. When we go to Disney in May my niece is getting engaged. My mom and dad are coming up for a few days so they can be there for the big event. Of course my niece doesn't know anything about it so that makes it more fun for us. I'm not sure how he's going to do this, if we'll be involved or even there at the exact moment but we'll all at least be there for the congratulations right after.

Good morning Sassies! I hope everyone had a great Easter!

After some technical difficulties from Ticketmaster I did get 4 tickets. He was so happy and surprised, glad I was able to get them for him. My hairstylist is the going too with her husband and we are going to make our hair wicked high 80s hair for the occassion. It isn't until August though.

Julie, I have not heard of Hayseed Dixie. I need to look them up! I like AC/DC, but would never have gone to one of their concerts until Brian said he really wanted to go. That surprised me too! Did you get Shemar in your basket? I asked for Mike Rowe, but was sadly disappointed.

Tricia, an Easter BBQ sounds delightful. We usually break from traditional holiday fare and have something fun. I don't know if my inlaws appreciate it or not.

Judi, its good to hear that mom ate a lot! What a wonderful Easter gift!

Squiddy, what did you and the Squidlet do for Easter?

Wilma, did Wally enjoy any Easter fare? I ran out of room in the fridge, so I had to put a whole leftover pizza in the garage on top of the freezer, Speck decided it looked good and jumped up and enjoyed the whole darn thing! I'm really glad he has an iron stomach, but I imagine he will be constipated today from all the cheese.

Good evening, Sassies! My computer strikes again - this time it sent spam email to all of my contact list. Several people on the list now wish they did not know me. Hopefully, no one was a dumb bunny and clicked on the link in the email, which seems to give them the same virus. I hate computers, and if I had a dime for every time that I have said that over the last month I would be a rich woman.

Okay, so I am on the third Twilight book and I am hooked. Who knew that vegetarian vampires could be so sexy?

Becca - Wally missed out on all Easter fare, through scrupulous care in hiding all Easter goodies. It made me a little sad, though, because last year at Easter we had Linus's one and only (ever!) food stealing transgression when he ate Barney's easter basket - grass and all! He was quite pleased with himself and super hyper from the caffeine. Perhaps Speck's pizza escapade is a posthumous tribute to Linus. I say cut him some slack - he's being a respectful pooch.

Bonnie - where are you? Check in, will ya?

Judi - Prom dress shopping? It's the reason why most moms of boys are thrilled to be moms of boys! Good luck!

Angie - What's up, lady? If your MIL has tied you up, you should have one of your hounds save you. It would make for a great news story!
