Still Sassy after all this time!

I will! I hope I have a great time in Florida - I have been seeing someone down there, but we have been fighting since the last time I got back - let's hope we can solve this or it will be my last Florida trip for a while. Either way, I'll have my rear on the beach in the sun and that sure beats Indiana!!!!

Got that right! We may never have spring here. I hope you can either work it out or find a hunk on the sand. Just be careful, I hear its unpleasant to get sand in certain areas.:rolleyes1

Joe_Meeko_Mr_Universe.jpg

Wow, those are some muscles!

Ladies I believe we have found a pair of hoo-has for Bonnie to grab!!!! :rotfl:

Hahahaha, I do believe you are right!

Thanks for reminder Squid.

Becca, I guess we have 8th grade prom: 1) lots don't make it to 12th grade 2) nothing else for kids to do here 3) drive us moms nuts.:confused3

Date:rotfl2: Mr. Judi will be buying the ticket and flowers this time around.

Yeah, I guess there isn't much to do. I see a business venture for you Judi, something to keep the kids busy while encouraging them to stay in school!

I'm glad you are buying the ticket and flowers. 8th grade doesn't seem old enough for a date of that type.

All the Plainwell 4th graders are getting the "talk" next week at school. They are having a parents preview Thursday, I think I will go just to make sure we have given him enough of a "preview" already and by we I mean Brian.

Ooo the school talk. Cole did fine til they got to tampons. :scared1:
The lovely rubber suits then followed :rotfl2:

I know - I hate when I get sand stuck between my toes!!! :rotfl:

Enjoy the talk - I had that when Kate went into 5th grade. The eye rolling and sighing really made the uncomfortable situation even better! ;)

We had a nice time in Ohio. We stayed with Ryan's dad for the 1st time since Riley was a baby. Their dog passed away in Oct, and they just got new carpet, cleaned the furniture etc... However, the cats did bother him, but not enough to not be able to stay there. Just had to load him up with Benadryl.

We are in the home stretch in getting things done-- the realtor comes Saturday & the sign goes up Sun or Mon. I. Am. Pooped!!!! And sick too, which isn't helping, but it's mind over matter at this point!

I miss you guys, and hopefully will be able to spend more time DISing in a few weeks.

Judi-- So wonderful to hear your mom is doing so well! Must be that stellar care-taking she's receiving.:rolleyes1 Good luck on the dress hunt.

Squid-- :rotfl: Love it. I could go for a margarita right now.

Angus-- on the MIL situation. Hang in there!

Wilma-- You must have the world's most patient husband. How is he not fed up with your 'puter issues yet???
Bex-- Good work on those AC/DC tickets.:thumbsup2 You've now upped the ante on whatever gift he must give you next! Oh, & how's Speck feeling after the pizza?

Mel-- I missed the info-- what happened with Shaun's job?

Tricia-- I never thought about dyeing raw eggs-- we may have to try that next year. I do like hard boiled, but not 18 of them!

Julie-- You should try at Christmas to get Shemar... Santa's sleigh is much better suited to delivering beefcakes than the Bunny's little basket! Shemar looks... substantial.:rolleyes1

Where oh where is my Bonnster friend? Anyone heard from her? And hello Kimmy & everyone else!

:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Now that is the funniest thing I have heard all day!!!!!!!!! Actually, I think Mr. FofP might be using this opportunity to teach my boys the finer points of expletive use. You never know when such knowledge will come in handy.

I have yet to hear from Bonnie, although I did PM her a few days ago. I hope she is okay. Glad you had a fun time in Ohio!

So Friday night is D Day for this computer - Mr. FofP is going to wipe out the hard drive and reinstall everything. Can't see how this little virus bugger could survive that!

Judi, that is great news! Really, quite a miracle from where you all began, ya know? I am really happy for you, I know it has been such a tough road.

Angie - Can I get in line for housepainting a la Dwight? It sounds like a HGTV show! Your MIL is a lucky woman.

Becca - Can you bury a statue of just anyone in your yard, or does it have to be a "patron saint of real estate" type of statue? Would a gnome statue work? Research, please!

Squid - enjoy Fla, and throw back a few Margaritas in my honor if you please. For medicinal purposes only, you know.;) Hope things go well with the dude.

Tomorrow is pajama day in school so I have to scrounge up some decent pajamas to wear. I am debating whether or not I should put them on before driving to school or wait until I get there. What if I had a flat tire and had to exit my vehicle in my fuzzy penguin pants. It's a small town, you know.:headache:

Hi Julie, Tricia and Kimmy - have a great day!

I have yet to hear from Bonnie, although I did PM her a few days ago. I hope she is okay. Glad you had a fun time in Ohio!

I was texting back and forth with her today. She's good. I told her she needed to stop by and see the man candy with the huge ta-tas. Maybe she's trying to restrain herself from wanting to poke the monitor!

Alright, I looked it up. It has to be St. Joseph. Here's a link to some info! Educational thread strikes again!
http://www.realestateweblog.org/a-new-way-to-sell-your-house-bury-st-joseph-in-your-yard.php

Wilma, good luck with your confuser! Don't you love it when the men in our lives teach the kids some new words? I'll never forget the day Brian let the F bomb slip in front of Brendan. I would wear your pajamas to school, live on the edge!

Squiddy, tell Bonnie to get her moldy butt here and chat before I send Mr. T to drag it out!

Judi, oh my goodness! I wondered how in depth they would go. I'm sure Brendan will come home with all sorts of questions.

Say good bye to my red hair, tonight I'm going back to brown with some lovely carmel highlights.

Judi, I never thought I'd hear these words come out of my keyboard, but... that is a little TOO much man candy pour moi! He is sort of scary in a greasy, feathery hair kind of way. Am I allowed to request the firemen? Those guys are smokin!!!!

Good luck with "The Talk" Brian! I hope your son comes out with more info than mine. Reece seems to hit me with lots of detailed, uncomfortable questions that went unanswered in his man to man chat with Ryan. Like, "do you & dad still "do it" even though Dad is fixed?":scared1:

I wonder if the powers-that-be would mind if I substituted one of Riley's Ninja Turtle action figures in lieu of St. Joe?

Wilms-- Glad I could offer you a bit of amusement.:lmao: I guess Mr. FoP isn't handling the virus as patiently as I had presumed. Good luck with Friday's Shock & Awe campaign. I hope you scare that nasty bug back to where it came from. Which is probably some apartment in Asia, home to some pimply faced 16 yr olds eating pizza, not bathing, and laughing at the havoc they've unleashed upon the Ugly Americans.:sad2:

Squid, glad to hear you've been in contact with Bontastic. I was getting worried!

Good Morning

Becca, I'd fill ya in, but I wouldn't want you to lose the :scared1: look, as you hear all the details and Shannon, do ya still? :rotfl2:

We have ordered 2 dresses. Under $95 for both. Penney's clearance. Homecoming dance is only 6 months away.:scared:

What man? It was a FL beach scene for Squid.;)

Good morning, ladies! I am sporting my Piggly Wiggly tee shirt and Pink Panther pajama pants, all ready to go to school. Oh, and don't forget the Mickey Mouse slippers! I am a sight to behold, I tell ya!

Shannon, go ahead and bury a Ninja Turtle in your yard. Maybe it will attract families with children!

Becca - Good research! I can always count on you to sniff things out. I still think the gnome would work well - you could auger him in head first, due to that fancy pointed hat!

Judi - Hooray that your dress ordeal is over! And, how nice to have a girl willing to mail order!:thumbsup2

QOTD - Are you, or are you not, a fan of grilled cheese sandwiches? I am in the yes camp on this one. Nix on the tomato soup accompaniment, though - yuck!

Good morning Sassies!

Shannon, bury the Ninja Turtle. You can start a whole new movement!

Judi, glad your dress shopping is done. That's a great deal for 2 dresses.

Angie, I'm hoping for a delay with the movers for your mil! Maybe if you bury an Elphaba figure she will depart shortly!

Wilma, have fun at pj day! That is my boys favorite of the silly days. Except for maybe crazy hair day. This year Brendan was a hit since I made his hair look like Edward Cullen's from the movie, all the little girls loved that.

Hi Tricia, Squiddy, Bonnie, Julie, Kimmy and all others!

QOTD: Love grilled cheese with lots of different cheeses, no tomato soup! Nasty!

Just yesterday I was going through my PJ drawer and decided I'm in dire need of new ones. I have about three pair that should really be thrown out. If I had to wear PJ's out in public I'd be in a fix. :scared:

I was texting back and forth with her today. She's good. I told her she needed to stop by and see the man candy with the huge ta-tas. Maybe she's trying to restrain herself from wanting to poke the monitor!

Bonnie come back and play. We're thinking about you lady and hope you are doing well.

QOTD - Are you, or are you not, a fan of grilled cheese sandwiches? I am in the yes camp on this one. Nix on the tomato soup accompaniment, though - yuck!

Oh I love me a good grilled cheese sandwich. :thumbsup2 Every once in a while I'll throw on a piece of pepper jack cheese to accompany my cheddar and you get lots of oozing goodness. I have to agree with nixing the tomato soup. I'm not a fan.

Judi :banana:good job on the prom dresses. Will Cole have to wear a long dress to the Homecoming Dance too?

Wilma ~ New Orleans is such a Catholic town that all the religious shops sell the St. Joseph kits in them. Very popular down here.

Squiddy have a great trip to Florida this weekend. The picture of Mr. Muscle kind of scares me :scared: and I'm sure they'll have plenty of him on the beach. Lots of photo ops for sure. I hope you and your friend can work through your differences.

Becca I think when it's time for Colin's "talk" I'll gladly hand over the baton to Mark. I did the girls so fair is fair right? :rolleyes1

Shannon is the house all done now? You've been working so hard you deserve a break.

Angie how's things without the MIL?

Hi, Ladies! I am out of the pajamas and getting gussied up for mandatory fun. My school is doing a fancy shmancy silent auction at a local vinyard and it was strongly suggested that teachers make an appearance. This sounded pretty fun, actually, until we found out that the big boss is coming too. Skunked again, no ETOH for us. She's a teetotaller, so we'll be sipping gingerale. It will be fun to chat with the other teachers, though!

Becca - My kids were a bit freaked out by PJ day. A few looked at me for a solid hour like I had lost my mind, but they got over it. However, our school's playground is alongside a major street in town and some of the local businessmen looked at us as if we had three heads. Or, perhaps they took note of my pajamas and were mentally sympathizing with Mr. FofP!:lmao: Anyway, it was a fun day overall.

Say, how young were these girls who knew about Edward's hair? I only ask because a lady in my book club told me that she had her 7 and 9 year old girls watching the movie in her car while she drove to the beach. The book seems a bit old for that, but I wonder about the movie. What do you think?

Tricia - you are living on the edge with the pepper jack cheese. I would look like one of those heartburn commercials if I ate that!

Have a great day, ladies!

The girls who thought Brendan looked like Edward were from 2nd grade to 5th grade he said. I wouldn't let my 2nd grader watch the movie or read the books personally.

Funny about the playground! I never thought of that since the boys school is basically in the middle of nowhere and the playground is in the back of the school facing the woods no one would ever see them in their pj's.

Howdy friends! How's things in Sassyville? We are having such weird weather-rain all day Saturday, 80's one day, 60's the next and WIND WIND WIND!! But the 90's are coming this weekend and there probably won't be any going back from there. I guess it's time to start thinking about our annual Sassy Pool Party. Just don't bring the greasy feathery orangey beach guy! :scared:

Shannon-thanks for the laugh!! Reece will be mortally embarassed by that quote sometime in the future. It could be good for future bribes (you will stay home and babysit your little brother or I will post that quote on your Facebook page). ;)

I have heard about burying St. Joseph-my MIL did that when she sold her house in Colorado. She sold her house super quick, too! :thumbsup2

I love grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup, too. We just had that last week for dinner.

Why is there a smiley with 3D glasses?? :3dglasses

Angie - perhaps you should go remove the St. Joseph from your MIL's house and she will feel an unbearable urge to return!

I am on the last Twilight book and can't decide if I should see the movie or not. I am leaning against. I know you all did not like it so much - should i just let it go or is it worth the time to watch?

Wilma I enjoyed the movie very much however I didn't read the books. Yesterday in one of those movie/CD stores they had a cardborad cutout of Edward for $30.00 . Now you can look at him as you're reading the books.:rotfl:

Happy Friday Sassies! :wave2:

I'm a little sad today because it's the last day of Spring Break. :sad1: I really love having the kids home. Maybe it's best that they go back because my wallet is empty. Only 38 days left until school's out. :teacher:

I love me some grilled cheese. However, no soup!!!

Thanks Tricia - we've been talking a lot this week and things are very good between us so I'm pretty excited. I will admit here and now that the problems between us were 85% caused by me - there I admitted it you (won't admit it to him) ;):rotfl: So in 12 hours I will be in St. Pete! :cheer2:

Wilma, I am one of the few who liked the movie. Especially now that time has gone by since I read the first book - yeah, the special effects aren't great and some of the acting is cheesy, but the music is awesome and the chemistry between Rob and Kristen is really great.

Happy Friday Judi, Bex, Bon-monster, Julie, Kimmy, Angie and Sha-nay-nay!
