Still Sassy after all this time!

Morning Sassies!

Julie we are scheduled to go on the 24th but may have to leave on the 25th. We'll be there until the 31st of May. Last year we were there in February and the school calendar for this year wasn't out yet. We planned the trip because my kids got out on the 21st of May. This year they don't get out until May 25th. :confused3 Last year Kelsie had an exam on the last day of school. So we don't have the exam schedule yet and if she has one we won't be leaving until around noon instead of 3 AM. I'm trying to make the best of this situation but we will lose one whole day being that it's a 10 hour drive for us.

Judi I'm sure it's very hard to find a tea length dress right now. I know while we were shopping for Kelsie's prom dress I don't remember seeing any. How about buying a long dress and having it altered?

Wilma I'm sorry you're still having computer problems. :scared:

Becca I'm glad you had fast fingers and got the tickets.

So how's everyone else doing on this fine Tuesday morning? Kendall has a dentist appointment today and it just happens to be about five minutes from a mall. We'll be hitting that today. Of course yesterday we were talking about Disney and what everyone still needs for the trip. Shorts seem to be what we'll be looking for today. Kendall is having a major growth spurt and nothing seems to fit her from last year. Thank goodness Kelsie on the other hand seems to be the same size for about three years now. At 17 I guess she's stopped growing. :confused3

Good Morning

Trricia, have fun shopping. While you're out, a full length is what we're now doing. Size 6 please. Thank you for your help. :teeth:

Have a sass!e day, everyone.

Good morning Sassies!

Tricia and Julie, your trips are coming really quickly! How exciting! And Julie, I did not see anyone else that was asking for Shemar and I'm disappointed you were denied!

Judi, did you try Penneys? Do you have a Macy's close without traveling to TC? Send her down, I would love to shop for a prom dress! Is Cole on spring break this week?

Wilma, I got an email from you a few weeks ago was that the one? It said you had a virus so I deleted it quickly hoping to spare my lifeline!

Shannon, how was the roadtrip?

Bonnie, Kimmy, Squiddy, Angie, Jeni Hi!!

Morning Becca

As long as you don't open an e-mail you're fine. :thumbsup2 Cole has school this week, Spring break was 2 weeks ago, in the snow. :rotfl2:

Yup, that was it. It seems to have mutated and sent a new one to anyone that was not fortunate to get the first. ARRGH!

Good morning, Sassies! It is rainy and yucky here. Preschool calls, but honestly I would rather just stay home and read my book. Anyone interested in teaching 8 cute little toddlers today? They are much less snotty than they were a month ago, and a few are even potty trained!:goodvibes

See you Sassies later!

Good morning! We are supposed to be around 90 today and only 69 tomorrow. :confused3 This weather is weird!!

The MIL is leaving today, but she will be back really soon. She thinks that she's going to be able to schedule the movers for next Monday. I think she's nuts. He doesn't even come to give her an estimate until tomorrow. But it could take up to 2 weeks from the time they pick up until they deliver because they want to try and fill up the truck, so lucky me she's going to stay with us during the wait. And DH is of course supposed to get as much painting done as possible while she's gone. I wish someone would come paint my house for me. :rolleyes1

Sorry Judi-no good stories this time. They did start talking about the feet sticker thing again, but they didn't actually use them. My DH did mention that his toes are numb a lot, and I said maybe he has poor circulation. My MIL thinks he needs more calcium and a bone density test! WTH does calcium have to do with numb toes? :confused3 If you need any ailments diagnosed just let me know and I'll confer with her and get you an expert diagnosis ASAP. :rotfl:

Becca~AC/DC-cool!! I just downloaded Back in Black to my mp3 player. Rock on! :woohoo:

Wilma~still no luck with Mr. FoP and a new computer? Maybe Wally could "accidentally" discover that the computer is his new favorite chew toy?? ;)

Judi~dress shopping-so fun and so not fun! I remember shopping for my prom dress-I'm sure my mom was really looking forward to it, but after hours and hours of trying on dresses I'm not sure it was the most fun mother daughter day we had!! :goodvibes

Hi Julie, Tricia, Kimmy, Bonnie, Squiddy, and Shannon!!

I forgot to tell you guys if you're looking for a good book try Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen. I heard about it here on the DIS. I'm really enjoying it! It's about a circus back during the Depression. But let me just warn you it is definitely has some adult situations.

Good morning Sassies and Have a happy Tipsy Tuesday!!!

We had a nice time in Ohio. We stayed with Ryan's dad for the 1st time since Riley was a baby. Their dog passed away in Oct, and they just got new carpet, cleaned the furniture etc... However, the cats did bother him, but not enough to not be able to stay there. Just had to load him up with Benadryl.

We are in the home stretch in getting things done-- the realtor comes Saturday & the sign goes up Sun or Mon. I. Am. Pooped!!!! And sick too, which isn't helping, but it's mind over matter at this point!

I miss you guys, and hopefully will be able to spend more time DISing in a few weeks.

Judi-- So wonderful to hear your mom is doing so well! Must be that stellar care-taking she's receiving.:rolleyes1 Good luck on the dress hunt.

Squid-- :rotfl: Love it. I could go for a margarita right now.

Angus-- on the MIL situation. Hang in there!

Wilma-- You must have the world's most patient husband. How is he not fed up with your 'puter issues yet???

Bex-- Good work on those AC/DC tickets.:thumbsup2 You've now upped the ante on whatever gift he must give you next! Oh, & how's Speck feeling after the pizza?

Mel-- I missed the info-- what happened with Shaun's job?

Tricia-- I never thought about dyeing raw eggs-- we may have to try that next year. I do like hard boiled, but not 18 of them!

Julie-- You should try at Christmas to get Shemar... Santa's sleigh is much better suited to delivering beefcakes than the Bunny's little basket! Shemar looks... substantial.:rolleyes1

Where oh where is my Bonnster friend? Anyone heard from her? And hello Kimmy & everyone else!

Oh Judi, what great news about your mom. :thumbsup2

So what's Cole's take on this dress shopping? Does she even like dresses?

The mall was a hit yesterday. I did accomplish what I went for which was shorts for Kendall. Today we'll be heading to Academy for new shoes for Colin then a quick trip to Sams Club. My kids love going there for some reason. I don't know where they got that from. :rolleyes1

Squid-- :rotfl: Love it. I could go for a margarita right now.
Wanna meet me in St. Petersburg this weekend? I'll buy the margaritas!!!

Judi that is great news about your mom.

Happy Hump Day everyone! Now where is the man candy???

I really want a Margarita now! That was hilarious Squiddy!

Shannon, Speck has an iron stomach and the pizza didn't affect him at all thank goodness! I don't clean up any vomit from any species. Glad you had a good time in O-hi-O. Aren't you supposed to bury a statue of someone in your yard when you are selling your house? I think I read it somewhere, coudn't hurt in this crappy market!

Judi, since when do they have 8th grade proms? Does she have a date? This is all new to me.

Squiddy, hope you have a great time in Florida this weekend and drink several Margaritas for me!

Tricia, my kids love Sam's Club too. I think it has something to do with the free food samples. They think its a place to go for lunch.:confused3

Squiddy, hope you have a great time in Florida this weekend and drink several Margaritas for me!

I will! I hope I have a great time in Florida - I have been seeing someone down there, but we have been fighting since the last time I got back - let's hope we can solve this or it will be my last Florida trip for a while. Either way, I'll have my rear on the beach in the sun and that sure beats Indiana!!!!

Thanks for reminder Squid.

Becca, I guess we have 8th grade prom: 1) lots don't make it to 12th grade 2) nothing else for kids to do here 3) drive us moms nuts.:confused3

Date:rotfl2: Mr. Judi will be buying the ticket and flowers this time around.
