Still Sassy after all this time!

How was your lunch date Squid? Any sparks flying over that tuna salad?

It was a very nice date. He's really a sweet guy - a chemist and we are going out again next week. Mr Florida has been playing some head games with me and let's just say I'm giving him a taste of his own medicine. He's not real thrilled. Oh the drama!

Congrats on the offers Shannon - fingers are crossed!

Happy Friday everyone! It's a two-date weekend for me! - (I don't have Kate this weekend) ;)

Ok, so I finally got the pictures uploaded from Kendall's party. I sat down this morning to do it and the darn camera battery needed to be recharged. Here are just a few from the luau.

This one is of my family before everyone got here.

Kendall and a few of her friends.

I had so much food and don't you know that the kids hardly ate. I really think it's because the girls didn't want to eat in front of the boys. After the party a few girls slept over and as soon as the last of the kids left they were all starving. Where's the pizza? First words out of their mouths. The only thing that everyone ate was the fruit kabobs I made.

Cute pictures, Tricia!

It's been a dramatic day in Wilma land. My school seems primed to implode at any minute due to some pretty pathetic management, and our swim team just absorbed another team even though we barely have the lane space for our own. I need a few glasses of wine to put it all in perspective, I think!

Becca - how was the yard sale?

Shannon - how were the offers?

Squid - how is the chemist?

Bonnie - how is the tummy?

Now that I have asked all of my hows, it's time to find the wine and a good book. Arrivederci, Sassies!

Happy Saturday Sassies!

Angie-- I didn't have time to bury anything in the front lawn! (or even mow it). We sold our house!!! Well, signed the contract (with the first people who looked at it) last night. Still have to wait for their bank to appraise it at our asking price, plus pass all inspections. But the showings have stopped, thank St. Joe! (Or G.I. Joe)

I think Sholow will forgive you, as long as you don't mention his bodily functions in front of his girlfriends!

Shame on you Judi & Tricia! Christmas talk already?:scared1::scared1::scared1: I still don't have all of my shopping finished from last Christmas!:rotfl:

Squid, I'm glad you've eased into the dating pool so well. A Chemist! I must admit a I have a thing for scientists. Love me a nerd!

Bonnster, I hope you feel better! If it makes you feel better, I am Maypole-less as well. And clue-less. And I'll definitely check out the new stuff at disneyshopping. Thanks for the tip!

Bex, I hope you're down to a bare garage floor by now, and a box full 'o cash!

Wilma, that's a lot to handle all at once. Hope that wine helped with the digestion! I'll make it a point to cheerfully banter ONLY when I see your green light!;)

Off to scout out neighborhoods/houses for a few hours. Hope you all have a fabu-tastic day.

Hooray, for the Shannon family! That is great news! Are there any contingencies beyond home inspection? You all must have done a fabulous job with your spruce up. Happy house hunting!

It's 3:30 and we are in for the day. Swim practice is done, soccer game has been won, and Wally attended his obedience class and is now obedient. Well, until he wakes up, that is. What is everyone up to today?

Thanks Wilma! No contingencies other than the home inspection, termite, & radon inspections-- the couple buying our house is renting month-to-month, so they don't have to worry about selling first. We are hearing varying stories about whether or not to be concerned about how much it appraises for, so we're still not breaking out the champagne yet. But, we went and looked at several neighborhoods today. That was VERY exciting!

Congrats on wearing Wally out at obedient school. That's one strategy-- keep him moving so he's too worn out to get into mischief!:thumbsup2

Morning ladies. I am eating a Power Bar, and mentally preparing myself for the next hour and a half. Somehow, I got talked into running a 5K today with Reece. And it's raining. Hard. And it's cold.

But, I've already paid our entrance fee, so no backing out now!!!

:banana:Wow Shannon that's great news about the house. Good luck house hunting. That's sound like the fun part.

I'm about to head off with Kendall for her end of the year Cheerleader party. It's at a local restaurant and I'll be enjoying some yummy Italian food.

Chat with you sassies again tomorrow.

Morning Sassies! Where is everyone today? I have nothing to report-my life is so boring!!

Congrats on selling your house Shannon!! That is so fantastice. I'm sure it will appraise for that amount, and you'll be moving into your new place before you know it!! :flower3: How did the 5k go? I'm not sure I could walk 5k let alone run it!! :teeth:

Tricia~loved the party pics. Looks like everyone was having a ton of fun.

Back to work-talk to you later.

Congrats on the house Shannon!

The chemist is a very nice guy we have a lunch date tomorrow. I had a date Friday night with another very nice gentleman who has been calling. However, my heart is still in Florida right now. I have a flight to go down there on the 15th so we will see.

It is a sunny day here in Indy - I just wish it wasn't Monday.

Good afternoon to all those in Sassyland.

Monday's always seem to be me playing catch up with the laundry. I slack on the weekends and I pay for it come Monday. :laundy::sad2:

Squiddy you're hot on the dating sceen. :thumbsup2 I don't think I've ever dated three guys at the same time. You go girl! :woohoo: What part of Florida does your friend live? I know you mentioned it before but this is just me being lazy and not going back to find it. I was just wondering if it was close to Mickey and his friends.

So where is everyone hiding out today? Come out, come out where ever you are.

He is in St. Pete. Only 1 1/2 hours from Disney!!!! ;)

Squid, it sounds like you're having some MUCH deserved fun these days! Good for you sistah!

And yes Tricia, I am right there with you on Monday laundry washing. Ugh. Does it ever end?:confused3

For my doofus of the week award, I'd like to submit the following:

I broke a window in my living room an hour before the guy came to inspect our house for the new buyers. :rolleyes1:sad2:

I know he found it, because the blinds were opened on ONLY that window when I returned home. *sigh* Can you replace only one window?

Thank You Sass!es:grouphug:

My house smells wonderful, my hands are clean and my mouth smells of chocolate. What more could a girl want. :woohoo:

Shannon, one window, yes. :rolleyes1

Evening Sassies! The garage sale netted me enough to cover table service tips for our trip so I call it a success. More lapu money for me!

Tricia, love the party pics. You went all out! Your trip is coming up so fast. Did you mention what resort you are staying at this trip?

Squid, you are quite the hot little number around Indy! Glad you're having a little fun, you deserve it.

Shannon, congrats on the sale, boo on the window. Is it a mulled unit or a seperate one? What kind of windows are they? You may be able to just get a sash and replace it, we were able to when Brian drove a rock through one with the lawn mower last year. I would never to such a thing with a 2 x 4. Just sayin.:rolleyes1

Angie, how's the mil home improvements coming? Does dh like his new job? Do your dogs poop the size of a toy poodle? Why do dogs poo so much?

Wilma, same poo question to you. You are vast knower of things.

Judi, glad you are clean and your house is too.

Helloooooo to all the other Sassies! My dad just returned from Arizona where he brought me yummy tequila gifts from a voyage to Mexico. Who knew Jose Cuervo made chocolates? :confused3 They are mighty tasty though!

Good evening, Sassies! Or should I say, Good morning? It's either quite late or very early. I am up late making an ice cream pie and chocolate covered peanut butter balls for Barney's birthday. His birthday is on Wednesday, but we are going to the Springsteen concert tomorrow night so there will be no time for festive birthday preparations. Barney is coming with us, but BamBam is home with grandma. I hope grandma survives Wally.:sad2:

I'm also making request signs for the concert. Barney has decided to play on Bruce's sympathies and mention on his sign that it's his twelfth birthday so he has a better chance of getting his song played. I trained that boy right!

Becca - while I am a vast knower of things, I cannot fathom what comes out of the backside of many a dog. Unmentionably large things, to be sure, in various shapes and colors. For a simple animal, it can be an astonishing variety - that's all I have to say about that.

Now that we are not talking about dog poop anymore, I will congratulate you on your table service tip money. Woohoo for you! All of your hard work paid off!

Shannon - there has to be a way to replace just one window. What do all of those mythical boys who accidentally chuck baseballs through the neighbor's windows do? What would Dennis the Menace do? That's the question you must ask yourself if you want to transcend this problem.:thumbsup2 Foo on not being able to fool the home inspector, though. We need to give you sneakiness lessons, I think.

Angie - Home improvements? What type of home improvements? A new gas proof room for Sholow?;)

Hi Squid, Bonnie, Judi, Tricia et al! Have a great Tuesday, ya'll!

Good Tuesday Morning

22-1/2 days of :teacher: remaining.

Good morning to all in Sassyland.

Hair cut day once again. I know it seems like it comes around so fast but when you have short hair you have to keep it up. I make my next appointment before I leave the salon for the next six weeks.

Shannon did the inspector say anything about the window? I once kicked a football through my mom's window and I thought she would be so mad but just the opposite............she was so proud. Three girls in the family and I was the tomboy. Go figure.:rolleyes1

After my haircut I'm heading over to Kendall's school to sort through boxes of chocolates and cookie dough. That darn cheerleader fundraiser stuff has to be sorted through and I'm the volunteer (can you tell I hate fundraisers). If it's not bad enough that you have to sell the stuff, now we get the fun job of delivering and collecting the money. :headache: At least they only do one per year and this is the one for summer camp, uniforms, etc. Fun times!

Judi did you take a shower yet? What's the scent of the day?

Wilma have a great time at the concert. I'm sure Barney will have a blast.

Becca :thumbsup2way to go on making the tip money. Did you sell most of your stuff?

Squiddy only an hour and a half away. :yay: Mickey here we come!

Happy Cinco de Mayo

Dancing waters will be the gel o' the day. Never smelled it before but I like it.

Arg, Tricia, we did 2 fundraisers this year. One for 8th grade trip and one for the band trip to Chicago in November.

Happy Hump Day

Who has the picture this morning :teeth:
