Still Sassy after all this time!

Garage sale? Becca, have you ever read Walter the Farting Dog at the Yard Sale? If not, you should. You could glean valuable information should you ever be in the same situation that Walter's family did. You never know!

Here's to all of the Sassy Grannies and Great Aunts (which is much better than being Crappy Aunt, you know!).

Prayers for all of the sick little ones!

That is absolutely the MOST hilarious book title I have ever heard of!! :lmao:
And since Sholow has been quite the gassy dog lately I may have to read that to him!! :teeth:

Wilma, I have not read that particular Walter book. We however, have enjoyed Walter the Farting Dog Takes A Cruise numerous times. That farting dog really gets around!

Perhaps you could start another farting dog saga, my boys always enjoy a good fart tale

Can they supply the armpit sound effects

One can, one can't! Although the one who cannot is green with envy of the one who can.

One can, one can't! Although the one who cannot is green with envy of the one who can.

Well, it is an essential male gene so you can understand that sort of jealousy!:lmao:

I believe that Walter has also gone to outer space and at least one of his books has been translated into Latin for all of you scholars out there (Sholow in particular ;)).

Angie - there's nothing like spending an evening with your gassy dog while the hubby works late, is there?;)

Off to the pool, my friends. See ya!

Wow, Bex, that's definitely a modern Brady Bunch tale. I wonder what the wait time for a bathroom in that house is? Glad your STEP-grand niece is doing better. Because obviously, you are waaaay too young to legitimately be a Great-Aunt! (or a Crappy Aunt. Thanks for that laugh Wilma!) Obviously that applies to the other Great/Grand Sassies too!

Good news, I think. Our realtor is coming over tonight to discuss the TWO contracts we have on the house already! We shall see if they're anything close to our asking price. Even if they are, it's still a waiting game to see if the banks will appraise our house high enough to warrant the asking price. *fingers crossed, 25 Hail Marys said*

How was your lunch date Squid? Any sparks flying over that tuna salad?

Wilma, my boys love the Walter books. Go figure. Haven't had the pleasure of reading to them in Latin yet. That would be entertaining!

Judi-- to throw your question back at ya, Can YOU do armpit sound effects? I must admit, I was something of a tomboy growing up, and was well versed in all manner of bodily sound creations. Alas, two children and two decades later, I cannot pull it off anymore. I believe the extra flesh I've put on since I was 12 has changed the acoustics of my armpits.:rolleyes1

I think Sholow will be quite humiliated when he finds out I have been discussing his odiferous habits online for all to read. :lmao: But maybe this will shock him into action-I've repeatedly asked that he leave the room before releasing said stinkiness but alas to no avail. I fear we may need gas masks. They will serve a dual purpose, though, since they will also protect us from the swine flu!! :teeth:

Shannon~Congrats!! I will be praying to St. Joseph that you get a great offer. Or did you end up burying GI Joe instead? ;)

Wow Bex-9 in one house!! I get irritated in 2000 sq ft with 2 people and 2 dogs.

I just tried it. I don't think I can:sad1:

I will try it after my shower in the morning :teeth:

Thats a girl for you, they never let you have any fun with the armpits!

My darling little cheerleader Kendall can make those noises with her leg. It's quite disgusting and of course they think it's funny. :scared: Mark and Colin do the under the arm thing at the same time and we have quite a band going. Maybe all the arm farting friends can get together and we can cut a record.

Shannon wow two deals already. You'll be out of that house in no time.

Hey Sassies! How's everyone doing? Well, I hope! Is everyone ready for summer?

Is anyone watching American Idol this season? I am so loving it! I think this is the most talented top 10 yet. Wow! I love them all. Adam blows me away though. And Angus and Bex, he's been in Wicked!!! He was the understudy for the guy who plays Elphaba's dude. There are youtube videos of him singing with her! He's awesome.

Oh my, Joe sent me some pics of this past weekend. I am looking HIDEOUS! I fell off the wagon the first two days I tried dieting, but after seeing those things, I am back on the wagon!!! I am also thinking about taking a page from Squiddy's book and actually getting some exercise. That hag is doing GREAT! Shannon, I'm going to do a month to month pass at Chinn, there is no startup membership fee.

Judi, happy belated birthday, girl! Hope it was a great one!

Shannon! I can't believe you already have two offers on your house! That is awesome! Keep us posted, girl!

Angus, what's this about your hubby getting a job? Did I miss the details? I got my info from someone else's post, I think. If I read it right, wow, that's fantastic!! If Brent found a job I would be thrilled! Good for you guys, you deserve it!

Wilma, I love the Walter books too! Soooo stinkin' funny! (Pun intended! ;) ).

Bex, congrats, great auntie!! Whatcha been doin', anyway? Any more trips to Chicago as of late?

Tricia, what's new with you? Is it hot and humid there now? It was super hot here last weekend when Joe came, but now it's coldish and rainy-ish. I am glad too, cause I'm not quite ready for summer, I don't believe.

Squid, how ya feeling, lady? Tell us how the lunch date went!! I'm dying to know!

Hi to all the other Sassies! :wave2:

Hooray, Shannon! I hope one of the contracts is to your liking. That would be great news!

Angie - Sholow should not be humiliated, we are all friends here and if you can't discuss pungent doggie emanations with friends, who can you discuss them with? Besides, Wally would hate to feel he is alone in the smelly poof department!

Bonnie - good job with the workouts, girl! Keep it up!

Judi - I was counting on you to be able to produce the noise, now we have to look to Kendall for such party entertainment. Sigh.

Why do I keep missing all of the cheerful banter? It seems there was a small run of cheerful banter around 5 pm and I was no where to be found. Sigh again. I miss cheerful banter.:guilty:

Please pray that the doggie camp lady does not get frightened off by the chance of thunderstorms noted in tomorrow's forecast so that Wally can go and romp with his friends. He's such a social dog!:dogdance:

Happy May Day

Good morning to all my SASSY friends.

Judi thanks for the Christmas update. Only two more months until Christmas in July and I always like to buy something then.

Mark, his dad and two of his brothers are coming over for the Kentucky Oaks races today. Just a preview of things to come for the Kentucky Derby tomorrow.

Horses always remind me of Sarah. What ever happened to her?

Judi, Happy May Day to you too. Now, the other part of your post scares me a little!

Good morning, Sassies! Foo on the weather, no camp for Wally today.:sad1: We'll have to celebrate his half birthday with a trip to Petsmart I suppose. Anyone need something from Petsmart? Wally is buying!

Today my class is making Maypoles and we are going to attempt to dance around them. It could either be adorable or a dangerous melee in an instant. I am hoping for the former!

Any interesting Sassy plans this weekend?

Happy Mayday Sassies! Did anyone make May Day baskets? Ours are really a cone I guess. No pole, I tend to run into poles and bonk my noggin.

Time to open the garage sale as there are lurkers out there. I'm scared!:scared1:

Good luck with the garage sale Becca. I hope you have perfect weather and lots of people with a wallet full of money.

Wilma, how does one make a may pole?

Bex, what's a may day basket?

Am I totally out of the loop? I remember in elementary school having to do a may day dance for the parents, and the 6th graders got to braid the may pole, that was the BEST dance. both those were HUGE poles. Alas, I have made no May Day plans.

Now, for cinco de mayo, I do plan on eating me some mexican food....

Happy Friday to all! I am home today with a stomach flu but it's not that bad. Every time I'm sick now I am just grateful I don't have Strep! :dance3:

I am liking the new stuff at disneyshopping.com Another thing to inspire to me to get skinny! I like the kid stuff too!

Have a great day, Sassies!!
