Judi-glad your mom is beating all the odds! It sure makes you believe in miracles. Get those fingers busy on the ol' computer and get started on your Christmas shopping.

Shannon-wow, Ryan's friend really has had a bad year!! Let's hope that this new job will be a fresh start and there are nothing but good things to come for them. Hope Riley feels better soon. Glad it's just a cold-the flu has hit the kids here hard this fall.

Becca-we need trip details. How was the heat, the crowds, the food?

Tricia-I bet Kendall keeps wanting to brush her teeth and running her tongue over them. I remember when I got my braces off and my teeth felt so slimy. But it was SO great to have them off.

We decided to have my mom watch the dogs instead of my MIL. My mom has 2 dogs of her own and actually likes dogs. My MIL was totally stressed about the whole thing-I have no idea why.

Good morning Sassies!

Yesterday was my 20th wedding anniversary. My dear husband surprised me with a white gold diamond heart necklace. Usually I buy something and say look Mark this is what you bought me for my birthday etc. This year I told him it's a big anniversary and I'd really like some diamonds. I thought he'd take me shopping but I was really surprised that he went out on his own and got it which made it all the more special.

Let's see Judi, what do my girls want for Christmas? Kelsie wants a new camera and a GPS for her car. All I got so far from Kendall is that she wants jewelry. Every year one of my kids is so easy and the other two not so much. This year Colin is my easy child. My count so far is three gifts bought and three gifts wrapped.

Becca I know you are busy with all the kiddies you are watching but I want to hear all about your Disney trip and see how adorable your kids are in the pictures. Post soon please.

Angie you must feel better knowing your little fur babies will be well taken care of. I've only ever left Gracie with my mom. She lives out in the country so she gets a little mini vacation when we do.

Hey there ladies. Good to see that everyone is still sassy. Hey Angie, I have been spending A LOT of time in Canton and Lansing Michigan these days. There is a certain person who has captured my attention. I even converted to being a Tiger baseball fan - well until the big loss this week.

I am staying at AKV for 3 days and then moving to BCV for 5 days in two weeks Angie. I am not fond of the split stay, but I couldn't make up my mind what to do. I really wanted to stay at the new DVC Kidani village resort and then I always have to spend a few days at BCV for F&W festival. My boyfriend is going with us so Kate and I get to initiate him into the wonderful world of Disney. Hey Shannon - any chance I could get you to make a headband for him?? I think he would look lovely in one of your creations.

Shannon - crazy like a fox or just a very foxy lady? You decide! I opened my house to a friend 3 months ago. It was supposed to be for a few weeks and has moved into months. I am at a loss about how to end it without ending the friendship, but she has 3 kids and 2 adults and 4 kids in a 2 bedroom apartment isn't ideal. Also, she isn't contributing to the extra costs at all so this has really been a nightmare. I truly wish you good luck with your adventure!

Judi - terrific news about your mom. My dad has been diagnosed with prostate cancer so we are going through the beginning process of exact diagnosis and treatment options. My thoughts are with you and your mom.

Tricia: Happy Anniversary! Congrats on the spectacular gift.

Hey there, Sassies! We leave for our cruise tomorrow (actually, a few days in Disney and then we sail on Saturday) and not a moment too soon. The H1N1 flu is AWFUL around here. So bad they are actually setting up public health immunization clinics in the schools to get all of the kids vaccinated. A friend of a friend lost her 9 year old son to H1N1 two days ago - it was tragic. And, there is such a huge incidence here now that the pharmacies are all out of Tamiflu to help manage the symptoms. We need to get out of Dodge, although I am not sure a cruise ship is the greatest place to go!

Things are settling down at school with both the kids and the parents so hopefully, when I get back I will be able to post more. I do miss you all!

Judy, that is great news for your mom! I am sure you are a FANTASTIC nurse!

Angie - You leave in 2 weeks? Are you excited?

Becca - You are getting to be quite the Bejeweled Blitz player, lady! You're kicking my butt! We are still awaiting your trip details - I need a review on the new Italian restaurant before we plan our next trip!

Bonnie - I definitely like the pink hair extension idea. It's so you!

Tricia - Congrats on your 20th! This cruise is our present for 15 years of wedded bliss.

Sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well Bex. Tis the season, no? I've been battling a cold the past few days myself. The weather (cold & rainy for 4 days now) isn't helping! Hopefully Wilma is soaking up some sun at WDW before she embarks on her cruise!

Miss you too Tricia. Seems like I have LESS time now that Riley is in kindergarten. How does that happen?

Happy Monday all you busy Sassies!!

Nothing new with me. It was 100 degrees here yesterday! We had a temporary heat wave, but we're supposed to gradually cool back down to the 80's this week. I am SICK of the heat!!!

Yes Tricia, I have started packing for our cruise. I have a pile of stuff sitting on my dresser! I've been spending tons of time over at cruisecritic.com researching our trip. Now I just want to go.

Wilma-I hope you're having a fabulous time!!

Becca-3 weeks!! That's terrible. I had a bad case of bronchitis in high school, and the doctor sent me to bed for 2 weeks. It was the worst I've ever felt in my life, so I hope you feel better soon!

Shannon-Are you still enjoying your new house? I bet the boys will be excited to go trick or treating in the new neighborhood!

Squiddy-good to hear from you!! I wish we were still DVC owners. We had to sell when DH was unemployed for 15 months! Now I get the fun of trying to rent points for F&W next year. We want to stay at BCV and want to book early cuz they fill up for F&W but people don't seem to like renting their points out 11 months in advance! And I wanna' see a pic of the BF in his headband!

I had originally booked a studio for just Kate and I, but now that there is an innocent victim coming this year I had to change to a bigger villa. We are actually going to have to spend a few nights in a 2 bedroom and then move into the 1 bedroom because that is what they had. I waitlisted for a 1 bedroom for our entire stay, but it never came through. I wish you good luck with getting an owner to get your stay for you.

Now if I could get Shannon to commit to the headband creation for the newbie.....

I am headed to the world this Friday night. I can't wait to spend 8 days with my favorite kid (ok my only kid) and my favorite guy!!! Although I will admit that I have been getting very spoiled with my weekly visits from Mr. Florist.

Angie good luck on renting those points. I've never done that before but did look into it once. I got out voted by my kids and we stayed in the Family Suites at ASM instead.

Shannon I remember how much time I spent in my kids class when they were in Kindergarten. Enjoy it because the older they get the teachers want you there less and less.
